nice idea. And I think, usually the current logo and most text reveals "left to right" as if it was being typed...
If you flip the image and speed it up a bit (the kid aint exactly slip-sliding away) i think it will work better.

I think you really really need a tripod here. Not a bad idea, it just really needs to have no camera shake to properly reveal the titles. And I totally agree with JScott..... left to right would be better.
But good E! -
I wouldn't touch it. The shaking camera and the direction of the reveal speak more about the personality of Current TV than the "expected" or "comfortable" routines. I think this captures a genuine quality that Current TV has, so I would vote for it to go on as-is.
