This is a travel video I shot and editing while travelling through the Middle East. This is the historical city of Petra found in southern Jordan. Made famous by its appearance in Steven Spielburg's 1989 Film "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade."

For it's length I was disappointed there was no dialogue or voice overs. Sometimes lengthy pods with only titles can be frustrating to a lot of viewers. But interesting place, and I really forgot that was the place in Indiana Jones. If you're able to add voice overs I think this piece can make it on air.

Beautiful. I don't think you really need voices -- the place is the story -- and I'm divided over whether this maybe could be shaved by :30 - 1:00, but it's not a strong impulse on my part. Definitely get rid of the out-of-focus shots -- they don't add anything to the ambience, and looked to me like you were trying to incorporate all the footage you took. Minor things, though -- this still gets my GL.

Interesting tourist destination . I liked your editing and the shots you selected but also agree with DanParsons about the out of focus ones. The music definitely works as well. GL from me

Fascinating! Reading other comments I'd say that I don't need to hear voices. You wouldn't lose by trimming the split/screen blur part. The place was probably crawling with tourists so I imagine hard to keep them out of the shot but if you can trim at least a couple out the sense of antiquity might be stronger. Love the music.
For a variation on a Middle Eastern tradition please enjoy Crazed: The Belly Dance and let us know what you think!-

Enthusiastic GL! I have to say, re voices vs no voices. Personally, I love this music and think it's an exotic mood piece. Love that Ude. My pod Shadow Boxer didn't have a VO link and it was suggested I do one and it made the pod, but I think this works amazing with JUST the music. Well done. Come see mine, ok? Getreel

An interesting perspective. One is seeing a historical site through the eyes of the first time visitor and filmaker, however, to become TV quality, this beautiful piece will need some narrative.

Voice overs are not necesary, images and text can carry the piece just fine. Although dont just jump to a Motion background, integrate the text like you did at the end. Also, use a thicker sans-serif text so it shows up better.
Very cool pod, im heading to Petra soon myself, its nice to get a preview of what im going to see.
as always, if you have time, check out my pods. -
Absolutely majestic! The music is so beautiful and it blends in perfectly with each and every frame of imagery throughout the piece.
