WaterFire is a public art installation that brings people together to celebrate each other and the community.

Fascinating event, beautifully conveyed. Did you shoot this all in one night, or is this a composite of several evenings? In any case, gotta give it a GL.
Shameless Plug: Please check out my latest video, LLOYD KAUFMAN crosses that line. Thanks!-

Very nice. I love the subject and the treatment. If anything I might add a few more of the overview and maybe a close up or two of the fire activity over the interviews at the end but that is just my taste... and those shots are beautiful.

Well put together, and entices me to go and visit Providence at some stage. Greenlit.
-
very beautiful piece, especially the opening shot. It might worth trying adding
a few more shots of the event at the end. Overall nicely done. GL. -
Tremendous production quality in this pod. I've seen Firewater many times, but never imagined it could be this cinematic! Beautiful work.

Very well done. I've been to Waterfire and this video expertly conveys the look and feel of the event.

I think this video is great because Waterfire is so beautiful with the leaping flames and the reflected water. You go DvDiva

I love public art and everything it stands for...its always beautiful and unifying...great pod!
Check out my pod on a Swiss artist who practices what he calls "social sculpture," art in urban spaces that brings people together. More specifically, placing over 120,000 candles in Lausanne, Switzerland. Check it out here: link Thank you all for supporting me and uploading such inspiring stories!!

Great POD...... and a great concept to get the community into art and to be a part of the actual art...

Great opening...love the artist explaining his point of view... excellent questions and artistic concepts..."the whole park as a canvas." yeah community celebration... that's the way to go!
-
Waterfire - I had never heard of that. I think the artist is right. We yearn for community. I think that's why Current.tv works so well. Very interesting.
Please watch my video also.
