Iran and Texas seem to be polar opposites. What happens when you are an Iranian who is raised in Texas? Maybe fans of college football will have some insight._________

"I think we need to nuke Iran and I don't mean that in a bad way." Wow, how do you nuke a country in not a bad way? Classic. Good job Beats!

Great piece. Love the music and the flow of the piece.

Goes to show how ignorance can lead to intolerance. The negative reaction you got from the guy screaming "Why!" Just gave me chills. Also the fact that someone thinks there is a good way to nuke a nation goes to show why what you did, what we do, what Current is doing with Seeds of Tolerance goes beyond just a grand prize. Stuff like this needs to be heard.

I also did a pod on Tolerance for Iranians. It echoes many of the same sentiments.

    LOVED it!

Watched it with my mum who was all confused because she didn't realise the blonde was you. You had us both laughing and watching it over.

Regurgitated bullshit of variations on a theme. "Oh, look at the ignorance and look at me exposing it". Nobody gives a flying f**k, because the shock factor is no longer there for the audience. We get it. Now what?
So we have ignorance? So you're saying by making a little comic shockumentary you will make people think about rascism? That by playing on people's conditioned phobias of burqas and Middle Eastern culture you can somehow sensitize the ignorant masses to elevated levels of self awareness? Whenever people define themselves nationally they create division. " I am EE-Rah-nian" says the narrator. Are you? What does that mean? How about I am a human being and leaving it at that?
What is it that you are trying to get across here that we don't already know? Total waste of time...

It was interesting to capture the reaction of people when Bita had covered herself. The veil cover is something I feel strongly about as I do not agree with such covering. It actually bothers me when I see woman covering themselves and I seem to also look at them and nod with disagreement. But then I look at the aspect that these women who wear such veils are something they also feel strongly about and they have been brought up or have strong belief in covering themselves. They do have the right to do that. It is just me who feels uncomfortable by seeing it, because of all the negative views I have captured and none of them being positive. This is my ignorance and intolerance. As for they guy who scream why. I understand were he is coming from as in my head I also think why, even though I do not express it. I feel that many want to scream and say why, but do not. This is sad, but true. This is a great clip, as it makes me think and question myself. It also stirs up emotion for someone like me, who has a more European outlook than an Iranian one. As I really never grow up in Iran and I have not lived in a country have women cover themselves up with a veil. Even though I am an Iranian, I was brought up in an environment that women have many, many rights. In New Zealand, many of the women here have such high positions in Business and in the Government. An example would be that our leader in the government is a women and New Zealand was one of the first countries in the world that gave rights to women to vote.

I think it was well done, very interesting documentary. It shows American culture, racisim exists every where it shows ignorance and lack of cultural relativism in the States. Gol Being Iranian you do not look european, no Iranian does we look Iranian!! Full bloody stop!

Brave, intelligent and entertaining. This need to be a feature documentary, or at least a series. I hope this is planned.

    lovely,
this is the nation that wants to send its solidres to teach the rest of the world humanity and democracy,
to teach other nations how to build a just society,
    "charity begins at home"
but no persian or iranian wears a cover like that,
arabs cover themselves like that but not persians or iranians,
