Great concept!. I think that if there was a little more variety of shots (more close ups, specific objects) if would really add to the piece and the pacing. Great work!

Funny thing is, that isn't a special effect! (Just kidding.) Unusual vision that just feels right -- GL from me.
Shameless Plug: Please check out my latest pod, LLOYD KAUFMAN crosses that line. Thanks!-

Love the speed up version...an actual reflection of how fast paced the society really is.
nice piece! -
really cool. i love the length of the piece. one minute sums it up perfectly.
check out my pod when you have a second. -
awesome. I love it.

I like the concept a lot. I do think, however, that it would have gone much better with better sound. Maybe some snappy, smooth narraration or voice over. Maybe even some music that matches the mood well. I just think it needs more. I love the concept though and I think it is watchable for tv. Better sound would have made it great.

I like the idea of travel pods which give you an emotional feeling about a place rather than a list of places you "must see." I agree with comments made that the pod could use a bit more direction in the choice of shots and pacing, but I enjoyed watching what you've made. Good job. If you have a moment, please check out my latest pod, GLAMAZONIA, and let me know what you think.

A fun piece. As with NY Montage, I think it could be part of a larger film. Good luck.

Once again, man...Well done. I'm impressed. Your simple, spare technique works wonders here. The natural sounds are stellar, too. I've never been to Tokyo, but after seein' that, I feel closer to it somehow. Kick ass job, dude. For laughs, check out my shit.

Really nice piece!
Two comments: One, what's up with the "fin" at the end? That really only works if you're making a joke or you're making a nouvelle vague-style film. Two, a soundtrack would be nice, but if you intentionally left it out for starkness, I understand.
Other than that, great continuity, editing, photography -- and overall just a neat concept/title. Nice work! -
Green light! I've never been to Tokyo. I like the concept of a tasting of Tokyo.
Please watch my video also.

This is just perfect, part travelogue part drama, I though there was real explanatory power in it's simplicity. A really great short video.

That was great. I went to Tokyo about 7 years ago, and have always wanted to go back. This just increased the itch. GL. Do you live there? If not what brought you over there?
By the way you might enjoy a couple of my pods.

If you ended where you started I think the fin wouldn't be necessary, but this was a great short piece nontheless. I got Tokyo in a minute. Almost felt like an art piece. GL.

One interesting point worth mentioning, this video is at actual speed. As a matter of fact - the racing style known as "Tokyo Drifting" first started by Japanese pedestrians on sidewalks. To friends in Japan- Manglaze will be making its debut June 2nd at Magma 2007 (the world's first hardcore punk music festival) in Yokohama. Video to come...

maybe a little slower and more people and places in tokyo. but cool to see tokyo GL

For the train segment you should have put a clip where people are swiping their suica cards because that would look cool speeded up, also some footage of the train station exit in akiba (or the main road) would have also brought diversity

Instead of saying "Fin" at the end it should have the Japanese word for end.
