  • Stirs the geekish soul in me, but I have to admit I've never lived the dream like these people are. What impresses is that you've not only captured the humor of the situation, but a soulfulness in the contrast of Eddy's existance to Talon's. For bringing that empathy to the table, I gotta give this a GL.

Shameless Plug: Please check out my latest pod: LLOYD KAUFMAN crosses that line. Thanks!
  • I liked it a lot

  • Thank you for greenlighting my documentary! This is a fun and interesting group of people that allowed me to show some of their passions and fears to the world. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it.

  • Interesting and creative piece ... good work.
  • Very interesting GL my friend! please give me your thoughts on my pod when you have a chance.
  • Yo.. this is crazy...now i feel bad for those D&D kids I used to bully in middle school. but seriously. This is a fun topic you found, you covered it well. I think it could be shorter, but I also know how hard this is to do.. I made a pod recently that was so complex with issues that it turned out to be long no matter what... I left out so much, I had enough for a 40 minute doc.. but the more I cut it down the more I realized it was easier to captivate and keep a viewer watching and forget time. Since your topic is pretty straight forward, I believe you could cut it down some more and have it be so effective that it would become a staff pick because it is definately quarky enough for current tv.. here is a greenlight to inspire you to shorten it.

  • This is cool and well told. I like it. It's nice to see people doing something creative with their time. GREENLIGHT.
  • Fascinating insight into a world that many more people probably inhabit than I can imagine! I think it was a tad long, but then again I am blessed with the attention span of a typical young American...

  • What a magical film! The Office meets D&D, nice tone. And yeah Houston Women in Film, you make us proud!
  • Talon the Warlord...what a funny pod!

Also, thanks for your comments on "Caregiver's Rant". Keep me posted on your project about healthcare and the elderly. This will become a bigger and bigger issue in the next twenty years or so as life expectancy increases, job security/benefits (read that: retirement savings) decreases, and our healthcare and social security systems continue to move towards privatization.

  • Has a LOT of potential. Trim off about 3 minutes, change the music around at times, add some faster paced music to the mix.
