  • Good encapsulation of an emotion-charged event. Gets a little redundant at points, could be trimmed (but definitely keep that whole, "Speak English" moment). But it's a strong document, so GL.

  • this pod could have been a little shorter to get the message across. The dramatic music you carried out throughout the whole piece kinda made me feel like you were leading up to something, although the message was clear throughout the whole video. Very good message though!

  • Ok, first, my complaints: the audio mix is too bass-sub heavy, and tends to make the audio "pulse" a bit. Also, it's a bit long and the editing leaves a lot to be desired. Overall , the music should be lower, IMHO.

    I think it's a pretty good piece, but it's just short of broadcast quality. One thing I look for in pods is multiple music cues.

  • I agree that this pod has real potential -- the emotional element really gave me the chills. But I found myself really wanting to hear something from someone on either side. Something to offset the raw emotion and give it context. Did you get any sound from the Minutemen or the people in the crowd? That would make this a very strong pod.

  • I think you have all of the parts but perhaps they could be in a better order. You might think about using the historical piece as an open to establish where we should be and end with one of the "shame on you" pieces to show where we really are. I also think you could cut out some of the marching and crowd shots to shorten it. I'll give it a Greenlight, however, because there is some compelling video here.
