Reiki is a form of holistic healing that originated in Japan. It is a way of magnifying the healing "ki" energy of the hands. Reiki uses the same kind of non-physical "ki" energy martial artists use to nourish the body's health and vitality.

Reiki is safe, gentle and amazingly effective on many kinds of physical and emotional issues, and is rapidly becoming the most popular healing modality on the planet. It is very easy to learn the basics, yet new ways to use it constantly suggest themselves.

Jessica Miller is a Reiki Master/ Teacher. She has been teaching Reiki since 1992. She is a licensed teacher for the International Center for Reiki Training. She regularly teaches classes in Pasadena, CA (Sierra Madre). She also conducts clases in Kyoto Japan, Sacramento CA (Roseville), and Massachusetts.

  • I really love Reiki. This piece needs a little more variety of camera angles. Maybe some stills of Japan or other visual information would help the pacing.

It's not really meant to be entertainment as such, but just straightforward information and demonstration" ... I'd like to respond: Unfortunately, you've got to keep your audience's attention! I agree that a variety in camera angles, etc. might have made this piece a bit more worth watching. Keep shootin' ... & Reiki Blessings!

  • i thought reiki was supposed to be relaxing? sorry, but the constant figeting, chattering by the teacher, not to mention her wiping her nose repeatedly then touching the patient, was enough for me. that unsettling sound made was downright wierd and scary. no thanks.

    Not to be shared with everyone for free.
    Plus I can't stand it when someone says they
    have developed something (tecniques) that have been around for hundreds of years.

  • I am a Karuna & Usui reiki Master/teacher, Jessica in no way shared any secrets. There are symbols that we use in the sessions, which she did not show. Sound healing has been around a very long time and works extremely well. This piece needs a little work but at least we are getting info out there.
