powerful, sad, great images and movement. this moment should be seen by many. green light !
-
Very poetic and moving. Cut out the extra black at the end of the film, makes the duration longer than it is, could discourage people from watching it to the end. GL

a well shot piece. The dialogue works with the images and the tone is great. I too would take out the extended black at the end. It doesn't add to the piece.
GL from me.-

Haunting. Much like this image of the famous National Geographic Afghani girl:
link music, infuses this piece with the message you're trying to convey.-

Story is well played out in a hauntingly poetic style. Particularly I liked the reveal that the old gypsy was someone special in the past. Big green light!
-
Very moving, thank you for sharing.
-
Wow. Really beautifully done. I love the approach of a poetic montage.
-
Now that we have seen and heard so clearly, we have no excuse not to do anything about it.

Hmmmmmmmmm! It's a superb poetic piece, describing a dark and sad aspect of mechanical life.
First light communication is producing some artistic work. Carry on dear, Urdu voice over with English subtitles is ok but English voice over would impact a lot on viewers.
Any how fantastic job. -
Its a very nice n touching peice of work....using poetry with visuals is fine but I felt like, by adding the origional sounds of what we see on screen can enhance the feel of this short. Just give it a try as background.
Keep the good work UP!!!-

Further more I personally feel, as film makers we should not addres the depressing topics always. Happy moments of same people can also be filmed. Like what make them feel good even if they are living hand to mouth but still they smile, laugh n cheer.

I was so immersed in the track...the voice is absorbing. It was almost distracting, it was so beautiful.
I like the simplicity of this. And it helps that it's really beautifully shot.
Very nice work. The images and the subject matter of this one will be hard to forget. -
I Must Say Oh My God I Never See That Much Closer To Any Reality. I Will Ner Ever Forget That Vedio Whenever I Will Eat That Old Lady Will Realize Me The Real Hunger.Simply Its Excellent Work And Director Done It Just Wow Keep It Up Man.!

Excellent !!!

I'm GL'ing your visuals and your narration. I do feel, however, that the descriptions in the subtitles could use some editing. Perhaps what the narrator is saying is not translated efficiently or maybe there IS NO just English translation or the narrator needs to rethink what he is saying. Ex: "Her thirst satisfies her need for refreshment" doesn't real make sense. BTW: thanks for your GL. I really found the visuals powerful.
-
Muhummad, Moshin,
Nicely photographed and edited. Romantic and haunting. The quality of your narration, even though foreign to my ear, had a patient, rhapsodic quality. Nicely tied to a poetic feeling of compassion.
A couple of questions. Why no close-up of her face? Was it a matter of discretion? And why no production sound?
Good work.

i feel that this piece of art is so emotionally powerful than many will overlook it. they will not overlook it because of a lack of talent (as that is obviosuly not the case here), but rather, they may not like the vulnerability associated with it. GL for sure - and just a note on the audio, i think it adds a nice raw and grainy touch.
i actually recieved an email from you linking me to the pod - that is how you stood out. Take a look at my pod the "The Son" and tell me how you feel about that raw story (though much less poetic). -
Quite poignant. This piece touches on many levels. The visuals, the music, the voice of the narrator, the subject of the film. Firstlight acomplishes with this piece what I , as an artist, try to do on canvas, he moves us to think and have a reaction. Bravo!

Riveting! Shatters language barriers. Very well done. The aging-in-reverse action makes for thought provoking visions of "there but for the grace...."

Poignant.
I follow a little bit of Urdu and felt that the English subtitles didn't quite capture the depth of what was being said. But voice managed to convey much of it. Is it a poem that is being read out?
Good work. Deserving green light. -
Beautiful piece! We would love to see this on the big screen.

Beautiful piece, I agree that the english subtitles didn't quite capture the dept of what was being said and it was still an amazing piece!
Greenlighted for sure! -
Beautifully shot as usual. I loved the cinematography. I would've been interested to see more of the subject, and maybe even hear from her, as powerful as the narration was.
Overall though, gorgeous work.-

Great quality pod! I like the fusion from color to black and white. I notice that in the locution there is a little echo. About the subtitles there is a very good program that is free and easy to use:

Maybe it's just me, but something about this strikes me as wrong. Who are these women? Have you spoken to them? Have you heard their stories? Or have you just created your narrative from your own, romantic notions of their situation?
I don't find poverty ennobling. And whatever your poetry is trying to convey, it clashes with the brutality of the images we're seeing. The pasts of these women may include hardship, emotional tragedy, mental illness, but we don't know because you've seen fit to describe a construct rather than an actual person.
I don't mean to question your empathy. I suspect your goal is to draw attention and sympathy to these women's plights. But I feel that, with this piece, you've drifted, probably unintentionally, into exploitation. Maybe titles somewhere, giving hard facts about the people being observed, will help to diffuse that sense. But something needs to be done to make the words gibe with the pictures.-

You have take good shots but are u sure that your words are matching what your heart is saying.i wish it should be matched.also try to solve these unsolved theories that you are showingin very good shots and using beautifull poetry.

Real, yet surreal, and such a sad reflection on the world we live in and how easy it is to fall into its cracks. However, though haunting and as I did GL it, I wanted to be left hopeful. Perhaps your next piece will cover that aspect.
