For a better understanding of the peaceful religion of Islam go to link and you can see what the truth really is. If you investigate how many countries are at war with the followers of islam or have experienced terrorism by the hands of islam, you may have to ask yourself "where is the peace". Remember you (non-muslims) are the infadel according to islam. One step above a dog. Further investigation into islam reveals all those who are not islamic must pay a tribute to allah, convert or have war waged against them. If you dont believe me look it up, its in that peaceful book called the koran. Furthermore, (reference comment #29) stating there is no mention of the word 'terrorism' in the koran/islam is like saying there is no mention of 'Nazism' it is because the concept did not exist at the time. Well, I am a Malaysian Muslim. In my country, not many people want to migrate to the United Sates...Maybe, because we are not at war propagated by the US.
I don't think we can blame people for getting out of war-torn countries (all thanks to the US). Perhaps, the line of reasoning is like this, since I am going to get out anyway, why not go to US, the country responsible for doing this to us?
US have lots of China ( and other Asian) immigrants. It doesn't mean they stop worshipping Budha, for example. Your not-so-helpful statistic about ppl coming and going out of US doesn't prove a thing. In fact, I wasn't even sure what you were trying to say by flinging that bit?
Your further investigation about Islam is also dodgy. When Jewish communities fleeing pogroms and increasing anti-semitism in Europe (Early ALiyot), where did they go? Palestine of Ottoman Empire. (90%muslims, 10% Christian and 6% Jew) Muslims accepted and protected Jews. Just like Muslims accepted and protected many Western scientist during the medieval times. Remember?
History has shown that when Islam was in power, no one is oppressed. What you are seeing now is due to the injustice of those who are in power, that's why we get terrorrism!

Uh? So, I guess what you're saying is all white american people suck? Wow, that's an original take, great idea! In the process of trying to eliminate the stereotyping of your nationality and religion you in turn are stereotyping all white americans. I have flown a lot since 9/11 and as a white american male I have been randomnly picked out for a search nearly every single time. I don't mind it a bit, so don't feel picked on! Our nation is still trying to recover emotionally from those tragic events of 9/11 so forgive us if we try to keep our flights safe. They can keep searching me all they want, because it's always better to be safe than sorry, you never know. Oh, and for the record as a white american I have been pulled over in my car countless times for various traffic violations. Maybe if I wasn't white they wouldn't pull me over! Hmmmm?

Actually I never said that. My closest friends come from all different backgrounds and races, including white. No one has a choice of what color of skin that they are born in but we do have a choice in the ideas we carry and I base my friendships on that. I think its silly to select your companions based on their color of skin.

Anyways, my phrase "If you thought black while driving was bad, try Muslim while flying" was referring to being pulled over. An Africian-American person may be pulled over while driving in a car more often because of his color of their skin. As a Muslim, I am pulled over while walking through the airport because of the color of my skin. Eventhough, I grew up in the US since I was 4, am an American Citizen, etc....

There are 5 to 8 million Muslims living the US and Muslims so if Islam really taught terrorism, then we are pretty bad at it because 5 to 8 million Muslims haven't done jack.

Islam doesn't teach terrorism and the only ones that would disagree with that statement is the ones who don't know about teachings of Islam and those who blindly follow them :)

I would first like to thank Afizaazmee for responding to my comments (#29,32). Sadly it seems in this case reading does not lead to comprehension, it just seemed to produce some broken string of twisted logic, lumped with quasi facts which try to quote history. Remember I have said look it up check out my facts. The most glaring point about what Afizaazmee said, is what he didn't say. In comment #29 I listed this link check it out and see how peaceful islam is. This was by far one of my strongest and most obvious points about islam and he doesn't even mention it. Once again its hard to fight the truth especially when there are color pictures, too. I know if someone showed pics of kids with their heads cut off and tried to pin it on my religion I would have something to say unless I agreed with it. I would also respond to someone saying my religion looks to wage war against you unless you agree to be extorted, unless you agree with it or its in the koran, check it out its in there. In his aforementioned broken stream of logic, Afizaazmee blames the United States (US) for the worlds war. Afizaazmee then says he wants to come to the US. I am black and I drive, I know, live, work with other blacks who drive and no one seems to know what your talking about. It just came to me, I have figured you out. Your the type who sees something on tv and internalizes it. The muslims who were denied a flight a few months ago. Well that has to relate to you since your muslim. Driving while black, steal that make it your own and it will strengthen your agruement. Look, I respect you going out of your way try to educate people on your nationality and religion. I just don't think it's a good idea to do it by making statements like " If you thought black while driving was bad, try being Muslim while Flying." What that statement says is that whites are racists. That's just another stereotype you are spreading. And what's ironic is that you are tyrying to end your own stereotype. As a white american male if I get pulled over in my car or randomly searched at an airport, (which I do every time by the way) who should I blame? Because I'm white I can't use the race card. Maybe I got pulled over or searched because others were simply doing their job. Does racism exist? Yes. It exists in all races. Believe it or not just as there are white racists there are also black racists and muslim racists etc. So to say " If you thought black while driving was bad, try being Muslim while Flying." You are implying that "whites" are racists, and blacks and muslims are victims of the white race. You don't include whites experiencing racism in your tagline and because of this YOU are spreading another false stereotype.
