Soilid story. Great juxtaposition between the two alternate point of views. This is heading right for TV. Greenlighted. -zen

Hmmm...makes me wonder. Can I be cured of heterosexuality? See you on the tube. GL.
-
Good approach -- like the interplay of the two viewpoints. Sad to see the damage done in the name of God and some simplistic notion of normality. GL.

Great job. I really like the contrast between the founder of the programs views with the emerging self awareness of the former member.
I wonder if they will one day discover if homosexuality manifests itself differently for different people. That would mean that is easier for some people to "resist" than others.
I also wonder if the Christian church will ever stop its obfuscation of the bible. The references they site to support the idea that homosexuality is sinful are not that cut and dried at all. Go see my pod "God's Laws" if you want to see the laws people are commanded to follow if they are going to condemn homosexuality. Jesus either freed us from ALL of those laws or NONE of them. Nobody can say that we are free from all of those hundreds of other non 10 commandment laws now EXCEPT the one about being gay. That's exactly what they are saying when it comes down to it. Eating pork and shellfish? No problem. Not being circumcised? No problem. Mixing two kinds of thread? No problem. Not following commanded hollidays? No problem. Being gay? YOU ARE AN ABOMINATION!
Celebrating the sabbath on Sunday is breaking one of the 10 commandments but you don't hear anybody starting rehabs for people addicted to church on Sunday. -
Great Job. GL. This doesn't exactly fit with my personal opinions, but the piece was very well done, and of course, i know that my own opinion isn't the only one that should be heard. Keep up the good work.

Well done! I really enjoyed the balance of the piece seen throughout. You fairly captured Love in Actions views verses that of your own experience. Plus, the right balance of humor and pain. GL.

I think I stand with others that I don't believe the main message conveyed here, but the topic is pursued with skill and no overwrought, overzealousness. It is conversation provoking without being overtly offensive -- still, its not really journalism. It could be improved with the introduction of data, interspersed with the interviews and such.

Very interesting! I know a few friends who are struggling through this very issue (I met them at church). Going to send them a link to this. (GL)
Please view "Any Dad" video. -
I just had a fraternity brother tell me about going through a surprise exorcism this morning - I am a Christian and have gone through it all and now been together in a relationship for 20 years and raising a son. I let him know they would all come around once they had to ask themselves why God wasn't answering their prayers.

""Come out. That to me was the most powerful words of the piece.
At some time in human history we will accept people, not by label, by as people. That won't be soon, but we're on the right track, I hope and believe that to be true.
Good pod. GL from me.
Please click on my head and leave a comment on "small town climate change" I'd love your opinion.
Thanks.-

We are who we are, God created us in his/her image. The world is the one that needs to change and understand that homosexuality and transsexuality is not a sin. GL definetly, check out my pod. In God's Image

interesting. I would liked to have seen more interviews...but I liked the ideas that this pod opens up. GL!
-
Great! The critique I have is that I'd like to see more interviews maybe...but I like the interviews etc. The lazarus metaphor is interesting as well. Definite GL!
-
very interesting. I like that the pod presents the other side too. Being true to yourself is probably the most important thing in life. GL.
Check out my pod, tell me what you think.

It's really great to see someone turn that kind of experience into a positive tool. I have seen how self loathing leads to all kinds of bad behavior when acceptance leads to living a life full of light, joy and truth. Keep up the good work. More people need to see this program

GL. But...1st music selection does NOT match the mood of the dialogue. 2. You really don't show both sides here. It's true that God is love and loves each one of us the way he made us. I definitely know the POV of the young guy. What what is the POV of the older guy? is it that homosexual behavior is not a sin according to God? Is it that homosexuals are loved by God? I'm a little confused. Great piece for conversation for sure.

Very interesting topic. Not sure I understand the perspective of the filmmaker, though!

Great pod, very well balanced. GL

while personally i don't agree with the pod I think that it is a side to an argument that I have never seen before and that as educated people it is important for all views to be expressed. This was put together very well and was very interesting. GL

I agree with others comments, I like the dual arugument set against eachother. I really enjoy the comic aspect peppered throughout as well. I think this truly gives a bit of perspective to those facing similar issues and commend the editing choices made. Good luck!
Feel free to check out my first vid launch, We Create. -
I think this a great pod. It takes a subject and makes it easier to mentally comprehend by peppering comedy througout.
I especially like the "practicing homosexual" joke, that was quite clever..-

It is an excellent topic but I think you've combined fiction and non-fiction, art and journalism. Surely the recovered gay is giving a comic performance spoof of an ex-gay evangelical society. Why all the open laughter if this is at all real. I think combining genres is excellent but Current airs it like they are not in on the joke.
-
So is this a series on Current TV? Did our host finally decide to be OK with being Gay?? Or did he actually change? This is great!
-
Very interesting...sometimes we all become so set in our daily routines that we hardly realize anything "outside the box"! I don't agree that a person's sexuality should be disguised or suppressed, but it's was definitely a neat perspective!
-
I like your Pod. Please check out my AD for L'Oreal it's called Don't Stop the Party. Tell me what you think.
