  • Reuse and recycle. Trash to treasure. I also often save things that others have trashed. GL!

  • This pod is perfect for human interest.

I was left wondering what was going through his mind at the end, he seemed sad to think of life after his retirement.

Interesting how what some would consider trash becomes a vocation for this man. That pause at the end made the piece for me.

    GL.

Please take a moment to click on my head and check out my pod small town climate change. Give it a GL if you like.

    Thanks.

  • Don't dare add music to this. Don't cut a single frame. It's perfect in all its sparse, humanistic beauty.

  • The crickets start the piece perfectly and you maintain the pace throughout, which is so vital since it matches the man's personality and speech pattern. Thank you for this. I wish everyone could slow down and just listen and watch it and take time to think. It is serene and sad at the same time. GL

  • what a collection! dale's 'trunk' is incredible! really...i thought i knew peoople that had a lot of stuff! i have never seen stuff gathered up on this level and at this magnitude. i think he's sitting on a fortune! this is true passion. good shots. great sound bytes. real. cool subject. unique. gl from kendallfresh.
  • looks like my grandma's house!
  • I found it really a good doorway into dale's character via his self-created job of collecting things and reselling them.
I thought it was interestingly filmed. I especially like the stair part. The film brought an aestheticism and appreciation of his collections to me that I don't think I'd have had if I just went and met the guy myself.
She did a good job of including what he said so that the film had a sort-of eerie and eccentric feeling to it.
I also appreciated her different camera angles.
I liked the fact that Dale gets to tell his autobiography in a way. She catches the autobiographical nature of what he's saying and creates something profound. She does a good job of blurring the line between this real person and a character they have that has many strangely fictitious qualities.
