If you ever find yourself starving in Beijing, home of the 2008 Summer Olympics, then head down to the Donghuamen Night Market near the Forbidden City. Featuring over 100 traditional Chinese delicacies, Nick Vivion tastes his way through some of the best and worst of this exceptional Night Market.
Come if you dare!
Come if you dare!

You're an insane man, throwing yourself on that sea urchin for the sake of us couch potatoes. I winced a bit, but you kept me engaged -- GL!

homebisquit gives you another green light. Great adventures. Very interesting, and your stomach problems make everthing more interesting. They add much entertainment to the video. The best thing of all of your videos is the Bossa Nova, Lounge style music combined with the obsurd situations. Great taste.

definite greenlight. I've only watched your lessons of darkness pod, and this is a big leap forward. Entertaining and absolutely airworthy--I'm pretty sure this will make it. trying to document yourself in these situation is cool, but I think you may be trying too hard. You're good enough on camera to carry the story. You should try to bribe a fellow traveler or hire out a local to hoist the cam for you. It's a worthy investment for your style of shooting.

Well presented!
BEST,
AMANESS -
NIce work...I like all your stuff. Keep chuggin along. GL.

Great! I watched it with the sound off just to watch the visuals and the footage of people, food, place and your facial reactions while eating told the story beautifully.( I will watch again now with sound.)

You are as daring as Ian Wright from the Travel Channel. At least you were honest about the Sea Urchin.

Fun video. Great job showing us a little known corner of the world. GL!
I'd love to get your opinion on our video: link -
Comparisons to Ian Wright? I am flattered indeed! I hope that I can acheive what he has done...One day perhaps!
And yes, my stomach problems are entertaining - to you! But I like to keep it real and tell it like it is. I love to travel and no amount of stomachaches will stop me. Keep passing the video around - I hope Current will notice it and air it!
Keep filmin',

What a great piece. The food looks nasty, but you have to love the sense of adventure!
It great to see what is going on in China too.. I hope we can stay friends with them. -
wonderful piece!

Consider going to China for the Olympics! Its extremely cheap there, the Games are also going to reflect this - so once you pay to get there its peanuts for the whole time! Or fried bugs for the whole time...
Thanks for the eyeballs!

GL. Entertaining and informative. I would change one thing: Trying to ready text and listen to you speak is difficult. But overall, I liked everything else.

That was hilarious man! GL. I've been all around China but never within it. Do you live there?
-
GL...very different view of foods. You could have expanded, maybe talked about the possibility of Western culture eating insects as other food supplies run short. Cool nonetheless. I'd like to try insects!
Check out my Sony VCAM! Thanks! -
