  • Thanks for sharing such an inspiring story about the beautiful work done by this foundation. It is priceless to put a smile on a child's face, and the people involved in creating this event are definitely making a difference in their lives. Great production values all around!
I would love to get your critique on my work. If you have a moment, please check out the cause I am trying to support with my pod , and let me know what you think. All constructive criticism is always welcomed. Thank you!

  • This is Really Sweet. nice work.
  • How wonderful is that! It was a great idea and you are awsome for advertising this event. I don't have a terminally ill child, but I still want to go. Props to you for keeping the story positive all the way through. It just repeated itself on more than 1 occasion. On a scale from 1-10, it's a 9 :) Keep up the good work.

  • Congratulations for your very ingenious idea !!! I can imagine the smiling faces of all those children ... the best thing one can receive!!!
  • awesome!

  • Captivating introduction. Inspiring story. I would've like to see more close-ups of the kids, and intimate interactions with the festivities. Overall, the story overshadows the details of its telling. Well done.
  • A very well produced and inspiring segment. It makes me want to get involved in this event
  • fantastic!
  • Great story. These types corp. events should get more exposure. They may inspire other large inc's to do more.

    GL from me.

Please click on my head and check out my latest pod "small town climate change"
  • Simple, heart-warming story done well. Liked some of the details you shot -- the boy dancing like a cheerleader, the child in the wheelchair being cheered and escorted down the receiving line.

If there's just a small thing to change, I would cut a few of the adults who talk about how wonderful, great, superb the program is... it gets repetitive and they don't add new insight. Hard to cut people you've interviewed, especially on a feel-good story like this.

  • great story. would have liked to see more shots of the kids, fewer of the adults. it's hard to cut when the adults are saying such great things but video is a visual medium and the more we can say with visuals, the better. not an easy thing to achieve. GL

  • fantastic operation. Thanks for capturing this great deed on film.

  • This video shows again that it is possible to make a difference...to make something good out of something heartbreaking.
  • these deeds are great, however, the story would be much more touching if you just followed a few of the kids around for the day and let the emotion tell the story. all the interviews and the talking don't mean a thing - and in the long run, they don't stick in your heart. sorry i am so hard on this, but this looks like something that should go on the network news. though it obviously requires some sort of talent to make a film production, i doubt much artistry and creativity was used here.
  • Definitely worth showing. Great material, great production. GL.
  • This is beautiful. Thank you for sharing about the human unconditional regard for others. Please let me know how I can improve, enhance, and edit my recent re-upload, The Voice of the Murmurs. I am trying to speak for those who have no voice in Lima, Peru. Thank you for your help as I greatly appreciate your input. Cheers. Danielmklopp~
  • A wonderful piece of video which restores our faith in human nature, there is obviously more good in this world than we are sometimes led to believe.
  • An interesting idea for a piece, and obviously a great cause ... but too much focus on the perspective of those who are running the event and how fulfilling it is for THEM... Might have been more effective to see this even through the eyes of the CHILDREN ... Just a thought!
  • Nice story...got my GL.....When you have a minute - please review "The Kitchen Killer" - a POD on indoor air quality/burns associated with Open Flame Cooking and a simple low cost solution. It effects those Least Served.

  • Great Story! It was inspirational and informational...good PR work for Florida Hospital.

    Food for thought:

    1) For the Current submission, it would be nice to shorten some of the corporate talking heads if you can. I watched it 3 times and feel that you cut it pretty tight...So it would be tough to cut but it can be done.
    2) You have plenty of great b-roll. You definitely captured the sense of the kids joy, but more close ups and expressions of the kids would emphasize that further. Try to get those next time...
    3) Check the framing and especially the backgrounds on the testimonials. The Kim Lower interview has a custodial crew working in the background and is washed out. Both of these factors draw my eye away from the subject.
    4) The graphic design could use some rethinking as far as color goes. The lower thirds change color from person to person...The blue title sequence seems out of place on the hot Florida tarmac. If you scan through the whole movie you will pick up on the reds that predominate. Xmas red would have been a good primary CG color.

    Content wise...Great job!

  • Thanks for sharing this great story I would not otherwise have ever known about. I was impressed with the elaborate rotating trees on the title cards! What a great idea for these kids. I'm sure that exposre through your project will help recruit more sponsors for them. Great job.
