I love your concept, and i would only suggest to add in a sound effect, or a saturation/transition that works with the old-style, (The first time i saw it i missed the detail in the monkey's hands) ...but then again it could just be the screen size... So, just take it as it is.

Nice piece, I like the fact that you use the old cinema projector sound and image look. I would like to see the actual hear, see, skeak type/sign a lttle bid larger though.

I do not think the "zoom in" works. It sure will feel better if it does not have it. You can make another upload and let me see it again but I dont feel is ready for tv yet. Good Luck

great concept southern, I would've liked the color of the "current" logo to match more closely with the picture though (the picture color has a more brown-ish tint to it rather than a simple balck and white) also, you might consider enlarging the "current" text inside the bubble a bit more. I honestly couldn't see the "Current" logo until I saw it the second time, there's a lot of negative space inside that bubble that you can use to enlarge the text a bit so it can become more easier to see. But overall it was still pretty good. GL
By the way, thanks for your input on my VCam for Sims 2 :) I may be new to current (thanks to my parents who pointed it out) but if there's anything that I love more -other than my fiance lol!- is film and making films. I'm still just a film student at a local college, but I usually try and put as much effort as I can into every project. My favorite trick to learn was how to finally do green screen and do it well, I was even able to do a nice news spoof piece for one of my college projects and I was pretty glad to hear it looked pretty professional. But I'm rambling too much lol!

no prob southern :) I also have to say that one of the other things I like about it, is that it just kinda brings back a nostalgic feeling, and the irony of it of course, bringing a classic vaudeville style scene into a channel that is all about "current" events. I love it, sometimes there's still nothing like the classics is what I say he he

Cool. One suggestion: make the dissapearance of the words "no evil" a little bit more dramatic. Perhaps instead of making them dissappear crossing them out with a green line. I just didn't notice they were gone until the end. But other than that VERY well done!

hmm I think David Agnew might be on to something. give it a shot and see how you feel about it. In fact, when you hear the last four notes (the dun, dun dun DUNN notes when the "current" logo appears,I don't know if you know what I mean lol) you can cross them out during the first 3 notes.

I'm not saying that's what you should replace it with. You definetely did a good job nonetheless, but try it and see how you feel about it. If it doesn't fancy you, then keep it as is.

I'll tell you the same thing I posted in one of the Sony HD commercials I greenlighted and that is, the only reason I'm making these suggestions is because I like the work already and I think it was well done, but I'd like to see it improved. In other words, go the extra mile, most people settle for simply doing 80% to 100% I'd like to see you do 150% to 200% better because that's what real film makers do.

By the way, no I'm not trying to sound like I'm a professional, know it all film maker, because I'm FAR from it still. I'm still just a film student, but I'm just re-telling you what my teacher has told every single one of us students.

i think it needs some more content... also.. maybe the words 'hear' 'see' and 'speak' should be centered in the ribbons above do it doesn't look like you just erased whatever was there... i think the concept could and will work... it just needs a little bit more thought...
