Unlike in many cities, Parisian practitioners of the world's oldest profession take pride in their work, and expect respect and decent working conditions. We meet a few as they prepare for the annual "La pute pride" parade, where they will demonstrate for better lives and treatment.

Well...if the politicians usually go about and violate their own laws...damm...

Every government has to have their own flaws when it comes to create such laws. Democracy at its finest from what i see here. Prostitution in france...should of had prostitution rights as well as those "can can" shows that france allows. Im happy that they are standing up for themselves. Its just that the government cannot say that prostitution is "Somewhat legal"...it creates a huge dominio effect on civil rights on all counts!!! think about it.

Camille Cabral and some other associations are making a remarkable job in helping the sex workers in France. The society should recognize that prostitution is something that has always existed and probably will always exist – it’s a need for many people, both costumers and workers –, so denying it or trying to hide it under the carpet is just postponing an action that sooner or later has to be taken.
