The V.O. for the old man sounds like it was done by a teenager...which may have been what you were going for, but as far as the concept, perhaps you could have shown a cutaway on the paper that was a complete blur and then reveal that it said Sony?... I don't know. Just feel like it could have been more dynamic. I like flat sarcasm, and this almost makes the cut.

I like it! I see the connection between the old man and an old television. I can agree with the comments about the voice over and maybe showing the paper he was holding, but those problems can be fixed. I like the concept.

I like how it's mostly in one shot. Too many commercials throw cuts at you every half second. Also, the odd-ball visual and aural dynamic does well to grab attention and keep it.

I'm not sure I get it. It looks like the glasses cured him...or am I missing something? What's on the paper?

A little to esoteric for me. Also, two many voices. Sterotypical would have been one with slight echo and I'd have gone with the old man's voice.
I wouldn't have even guessed this was by the same person that created the Pool player ad I just GL'd. So I know you can do much better!

How about telling me what exactly the concept was. Was this supposed to be symbolic?

The concept is good and if the concept is correct the details can be done. Like the old man seeing a blurred screen and linking putting his glasses on to Sony HD....
