Is this due to poor spending habits and credit situations? How are 20- to 30-somethings budgeting their money?

Very well done, Hope. And, in my home town! No bias here, I swear! Seriously though, I can relate to this in far too many ways, for instance, why did I just eat cheese-Its for dinner, while thinking about how I needed new clothes, when the laundry bin is full and my friends band is playing tonight and I have nothing fun to wear?
I just made that up, but you know what I mean.

Important issue. Really good film. Well done!

I just returned for the state capital here in Des Moines Iowa and spoke to a young girl which was a part of a larger group there trying to bring awareness to issues of college tution.
I have three grown boys and I know the problems our youth is facing. We must address this NOW!!!

An important issue. Well covered. Great graphics work - its elements like your graphics work that makes the piece stand out. There are a few weaker elements - that last zoom shot is kinda shaky. Some of your interview subjects aren't well lit. But overall, not bad. GL

Loved the way you made the issue seem relatable by profiling the different individuals. Love the WP angle, but I'm totally bias.

Fantastic subject and a well made pod.
GL and a great first upload!! -
Great work~

Sorry, i didn't have time to watch the whole thing, but my advice for the begining/intro part, is to tighten it up a bit, it feels like its being draged out, try cutting the time in half, and it would probobly make it way better.
Keep it up : )

the narraration could hav been ( i no this sounds mean ) a lil mor didactic n my opinion bcuz although this is a real problem its real ppl's weaknesses that caused it
-
Wow, super great idea and nice pod. Maybe one of the most pressing issues of the day for 20-somethings... I agree with some of the comments below about tightening things up a bit to make the story more cohesive.
BUT, really great concept, which is a GL!!!
Check out my "idiots" when you can... would love your feedback!

Great topic! GL
The rich get richer; the poor poorer and the middle class is shrinking.
I blame corporate monopoly and greed for the eventual unfair distribution of wealth.
All the money is sucked upwards into the hands of a few. When a corporate executive fails he is rewarded with huge sums in a severance deal. Not to mention billions of taxpayer money thrown down the drain in Iraq.
Our students are the future we should invest in them not have them saddled with huge crippling debt.
I could go on...

Very good story that needs more coverage. One thing that leads to this is credit card being available to college students who run these cards up without thinking.
Partially I think to head this off at the pass is to teach some basic home economics in high school such checkbook balancing, budgeting, etc...

very, very nice presentation, nicely edited too, your soundtrack was a little staticy in certain parts. But your voice over audio (the one not using the camera mic) was nice and clean. GL from me and you got my support

I could find many small things to pick on. Things that could take you to the top level of production. But overall, a pretty good piece. I liked hearing stories of real people. Very nicely outlined and put together. The one thing I would change is the intro: it's a little slow. And for the future, don't have some of your interviewees look directly at the camera. Have them look at an off camera producer. It makes it feel autobiographical or preachy when they look directly at ME.
-
It's a great topic and a wonderful work. Congratulations!!!

Great work.
