  • Loved it! If I could give it two GLs, I would. Whoever came up with the idea is brilliant!
  • Not ready for TV. A little long. Slightly entertaining. A little pointless (fi there was a point, it's not clear from the video). Nothing really funny happens to make it worth the wait until the end. Great idea, though. I'm sure it was fun.

  • A creative idea presented well. GL!

  • It sure as hell ain't the Northern Line. It is freaking hilarious though, if a little long.

  • I think it's a neat idea and I am impressed that you pulled it off. I think I agree that it could be cut down shorter because there is a lot of repeating information which lowers the charming energy it creates as we see it unfold. I think it should be planned so that it grabs our attention, makes us smile, and then gets out before the smile wears off.

I also think that a big part of the entertainment value is the passenger reactions that were caught on tape. I hope that Current's requirement of image releases won't be an issue that prevents a lot of that footage from making the final cut if it is chosen. Someone would really need to be on the ball to get releases from all those people coming and going on the train. Cheers to you all if you did!

  • Glorious!
  • As someone who organised a Christmas Party on the 7:19 from Ashford in Kent to London many years back, I love the idea!

I have to agree though - cut it down a bit. Maybe lose some of the handing-out-food shots and concentrate on the diners and reaction shots - Where in doubt choose the steadiest as it's pretty jerky at times. The end needs tidying a bit. We see the chap closing the hamper, then there's more. Make that your last shot on the final note of the music.

(All this is IMHO of course!) :)
  • This is pretty funny i like it :-)

  • As a regular user of the tube, it brought a smile to my face, as journeys are boring with everyone sticking their faces in their papers or books.

I agree with others that it is a bit long, but nothing that can't be fixed by re-editing, so GL.

  • This was clever. For this video to be pulled, it requires drive and determination. Many people are driven away from accomplishing the visions and dreams because of the possible thought, "what would one think of me?" Clearly, this could have been an issue here, however, you all took the clever storyboard, and went with it. Congrats on your passion and drive to see it through. GL from me on your clever shots. It was interesting to see the reactions. Personalities clearly stand out. As one who loves to watch people, you've clearly demonstrated the diverse reactions of human condition. Well done.
  • Perfect! Nice to see something nice happening in the underground for a change!
  • Wonderfull good fun! :)
  • wicked!!

  • really liked it!! But missed some soundbites from the surprised people on the tube. Somtimes a face doesn´t say it all...

  • Oh I love surrealism. Well done on planning and staging the stunt, and seeing it through in public. Once again, WELL DONE!
  • Great idea, sort of shows how little TFL staff know about what's going on down in the tunnels :P
  • great fun, am amazed the table fits so perfectly in there.
Yes, might eb a bit long, but we also need some time to go to the loo and tidy up our flats in between having our eyes nailed on the screen.
    Well done!
    ulla
  • Haha very funny... Im curious though, did you actually get written permissions from TFL to perform and film this stunt? from what I hear its very difficult to get permission to film on the underground!
  • almost an impossible dream - getting people to interact and acknowledge each other on the tube. Lovely. Should try one the dlr...very civilised! heh
  • Jolly good fun! The other riders didn't seem upset at all....GL for creative stunt.

Check out Sister Beatrice Explores... She would make a great invitee for your next train soiree.
  • whats the point?

  • Brilliant video, definitely Greenlighted. Feel free to check out my stuff at any point!

  • I love random events that happen in strange places. I reckon it was a bit long and there should have been some comments from passengers, that would of given the film a bit more of realistic feel.

  • Loved it! I particularly enjoyed it when they got the other passengers involved....!
  • A great idea, works really well.

  • Great to see this idea, although ran on too long for my liking needed comments and feedback from others, post # 27 same as. Where's the anti party pooper....oh maybe thats me lol. Nice one
  • Invite me next time...

  • a new idea, and it looks like fellow passengers did not mind at all.

  • It was good to see that you can still be silly in a public place without being caught on CCTV and arrested! I was especially glad to see so many people enjoying your prank and joining in. I wonder if you would have been so well received on a more typically grey and rainy day. What's next - a double Decker bus? Great short. G : ]
  • your short is Ab.-Fab. You really have to apprieciate how curious and sporting these weary Brits are at the end of the day, Good Show !
  • I absolutely adored this film, tube travel should always be like this. Did you get permission to film? I shot on the tube recently causing a different kind of spectacle so I know what it's like.

It's a break from the norm I love it. People's faces! Loving it, ignoring it, joining in..Going to watch it again right now x

  • No eating smelly food on the tube!

And what about the health and safety implications!?

That's the metropolitan line for you.

    I should be in HR...
  • This is excellent to see - help yourselves to the city and all its facilities!

I love the fact there are no interviews, purely visual trip! Also that the party opens out to include other passengers. The tone is one of pure aristocratic grandeur, pomp, celebration and champagne flow beautifully together. What ho!!

Shame about the trainers and that the waiter was scruffy round the edges. But put this on, it's lovely!
