One morning of many mornings in the days of a popular radio talk show in Des Moines, Iowa.

I like the way it portrayed the radio station and the media coverage behind the scenes.
Who is this guy running for President? This pod makes me want to investigate.....

The Nobility of the Minuteman Project, Inc. are happy with the video. The Fathers of the United States demand Justice for thier children. link of the Greatest Minutemen in U.S. History needs to be honored by the Honorable U.S. Rep Tom Tancredo, it is fitting that he co-sponser the following.
link Title: Proclaiming Casimir Pulaski to be an honorary citizen of the United States posthumously. The U.S. Senate passed the resolution 100-0, as should the U.S. House of Reps.-

Will Tom Tancredo address the destruction of the family?
Yea, yea I know politicians showing how sympathetic they are to the problems of a "Single Parent Home" create programs to deal with these difficulties.
BUT the problem IS the Government created programs, causing one parent to be pushed out of the family.
You ask how?
It was best said by Lary Holland and Jason Bottomley
After spending tremendous amount of time researching external economic factors that they believe drive judicial discretion and influence professional judgment in domestic relations matters.
Through their research and experience, they have concluded that a relationship exists between the federal funding of state welfare programs and the determinations made by state family court judges presiding over child-custody and domestic relations matters.
This relationship that DE-EMPHASIZES the importance of sharing parental responsibility, and instead EMPHASIZES a manufactured public policy concerned only on the financial obligations of one parent - rather than on the real interests of the children involved.
While this relationship has successfully been masked behind what is commonly termed
"the best interests of the child,"
the federal funding created within the Social Security Act provides clear MONETARY INCENTIVES to states that have a high-occurrence of one-parent households, where a child has the majority of access to only one of their parents.
This "best interests of the child" standard is loosely subjective, gives unlimited discretion to state family court judges, and ultimately leaves a tremendous amount of room for abuse.
In simplest terms:
State family courts are forcibly depriving children's access to a parent because it is a source of revenue for the states - and because they can.

What is this piece about: the station, Tom Tancredo, "the issue," whatever the hell that is? You've got an opportunity to deliver some unique footage here (and your production values are good), but this is all very nebulous. Story, please.

some misdirection here as far as story goes, a little modification can help pit you in the right direction. Nonetheless it looks good and the footage and access is great!
Please check out my first vid launch, We Create! Thanks -
Your editing style is so cool. GL. Are you working for his campaign now?

Marz,
I'm sorry to have to take this to you, but since Tchee doesn't have his own pod on which to post a comment, and since this has to do with this pod anyway, I'm pretty much forced to.
Tchee has been having a grand ol' time going to my pods and posting personal attacks. This is not appreciated, and I've flagged them.
I gather, since Tchee didn't bother to say, that his anger has to do with my critique of this pod. For those who haven't gone through the process before, this is the way peers communicate. It has nothing to do with tearing down or wanting to hurt. It has to do with expressing an opinion when there's one to express. Hopefully, that's an opinion that the filmmaker will find useful.
If the comment appeared brusque, it's because I think you could still be doing more to reach out beyond your supporters, and that sense is working its way into my words. None of those questions were meant to be snide; they're comments about what I feel is the lack of focus and coherence in this piece.
Your supporters seem to be dealing with a lot of anger and frustration, possibly justified. That doesn't give them license to deflect their feelings onto someone who has no power over their lives or, for that matter, over the fate of this pod (I can only greenlight or not; I don't like the redlight system and have yet to find a good reason to use it).
I've commented because I respect you as a filmmaker, and think I can see ways that you can better convey your message beyond your supporters. If you don't wish me to comment, just say so -- I'm okay with that. But if you wish me to post on future pods, then your supporters have to respect your decision, as will I. I don't say that I'll be any less blunt, and, as I did with Any Dad, I will never withhold my greenlight if I think the piece deserves to air. But everything will be about the pod, not you, not the people who support you.
I'll subscribe to this pod, so you can reply here.

Marz,
Got your e-mail. As I mentioned, I flagged the comments, so they've either been deleted or will soon be deleted. I can e-mail the ones I saved to you, if you want to give me your e-mail address, but that's not really the point, here.
The point is what this comments section is for, how the people who support you handle comments that aren't all-out laudatory, and whether or not you want to continue receiving such comments. It's your call, and I'll respect you either way.

Marz,
I'm reposting the message you sent to my Living Iraq pod here, so people know we're cool. Here it is:
Dan,
If you want to comment on my pieces that's alright with me. You have your feelings about a pod and that's is your right. I don't hold any hard feelings. I've been slaughtered by some of the best.
For me current is a place just to express on a new pallet. I think what is going on here is Kuel. I'll hit one you like I am sure. I kinda know how you are looking at pods. That's Kuel too. So rock on brother.
Marz
Marz,,
We've all gone through the same wringer (and still are: I just had an Emmy-winning editor tell me in no uncertain terms what he thought of my cutting). I dug Any Dad and hope that you'll be able to pull that off again.
All best to you,
