In China's vast interior an estimated 40 million people still live in caves (Mao himself lived in a cave). The pod explores this unique and ecologically harmonious way of life that has lasted for thousands of years. As the modernization of China continues, this way of life is slowing going away.

This was great! I thought your tone of voice was perfect, narration can get tricky, but you nailed it.
I also loved the reflexivity of showing you with your camera and eating with the villagers, your conclusion was beautiful as well. I appreciated that you didn't take an anti-modernization stand point but informed us that this is a dying way of life. Good work! -
Flows well - good composition - the story relies on its images and he shows us things very well. Only criticism is let the story tell itself at the end - no need to take such a hard position on "progress" vs "the new way" - let the images and juxtoposition tell more of this for us. Point out the contrast but let us decide if it is good or bad -
How do you get so good at traveling into areas like central China? Impressive!-

Well ZaphodEpicurus thank you for your comment. The reason why I can travel in places like central China so easly is because I have been living in China for the last year and I have made some great Chinese friends that take me around. There is absloutly no way I would be able to do anything here without them.

I liked the uniqueness of the topic, never before have i heard of this part of china, and i found it informative.
I greenlighted, although i think the background music under the narration needs to be slightly quieter.
Very nice otherwise.-

Sherif - good for you. I really like the piece. Great script and voice. Are you living in China or just visiting? It seems like you have great access away from the cities...
Hopefully you can check my piece out too... the "idiots" in Washington, DC... -
great images and very informative - found the music slightly distracting but the piece is TV READY- GL!
give my pod a look and tell me what you think -link</... -
Well edited, flows well-nice to see the traveler to
help us to follow his trip.
interesting to study how building into mountains
affects the temperature of a home. -
Very informative. I've never heard of this. Something of this nature could very easily be on TV!

Congratulations on getting accepted for TV Sherif. This is a great piece. 40,000 Chinese still living in caves. Wow. Someone should open a youth hostel in those abandon caves. Excellent piece man.
If you have 5 minutes, please check out Drawn For Life for a Green Light consideration.
