The Adventures of Joe Rayborne

I found it quite funny, music's funny and Joe is a funny looking guy, but it doesn't quite give the excitement that a real trailer has and it's not a sharp enough parody to stand alone as a spoof...

just not there for me - needs work - but will hold all votes hoping for another upload.

Your intro is a bit long, espically since you are talking about a series that is going to be "comming out." It keeps you holding out for something but then its not there. And unfortunetely I don't want to see more.

eh, what the hell. I'm tired of some of the pretentious deliberately tugging at the heartstrings melodramas I've seen. I'd like to see some off-the-wall stuff. Give us an episode to back this up though.

good use of bkgd music and audio quality is good too

i like the idea, but i don't think it's fully realised yet. i think it wasn't quite punchy enough to be a great trailer, so it's hard to guage how the actual shows will play out. I am intrigued though. It seems like god fun, and there can never be enough of that! I'll wait for the actual epsiodes before I vote.

Your use of voiceover and music are effective. The show is going to live or die based on whether people like the character of Joe Rayborne. While we get images of Joe in the preview, we have no sense of who Joe is as a person, whether we like him or not, what his interview style is, his outlook on things, etc etc. And that's the key to the success of the show. As you revise this preview, I might include bits of Joe talking on camera and segments that give us a sense of who he is.

I don't know. I just keep thinking about Joe from Joe Central already at Current...who seems to be doing what you're trying to do. Check it out if you haven't.
