While you make it shorter, render at 640x480 and not at 720x480. That way, you will get rid of the black rectangles that flank your vid.

The assignment cleary states that you have to make an advert for The Sims 2: Seasons OR The Sims 2. This is about The Sims 2, so there's nothing wrong with it.
Anyway, I loved it. Great, clear shots and tells a great story. My only criticism would be its length, its a tad long. But besides that, its excellent! Well done :)-
