Your commentary is funny, but this was disturbing to watch. The only reason I didn't green light it was because your humor in a sense mocks the crule deaths of these animals. For being a vegetarian you didn't at all seem bothered by this.

However I didn't red light you either. This can be made a bit more serious about the matter. Guess Katotoy was right!

cock fighting is or used to be a big sport in Tennessee though illegal.

Have you seen LUis Bunuel's "Land Without Bread"? It's a surrealist film that shows poverty and destitution but the narrator really offsets the content with a calloused tone. It made me laugh rather than cry due to the absurdity of the narrator. Your pod reminded me of that film by showing something sad and senseless while highlighting its normalcy in that culture. Good work! GL!

WOW giant pig balls amazing. Great pod I had always thought that cock fights happened in seedy back alleys.

I am an "animal lover," and I appreciate the pod for at least a couple reasons: 1) it is not propagandistic and 2) the narrator shows respect for animals in his words relative to his food choices. Also, the timing of the narrator's statement of his food choice seemed paradoxical to his tone and choice of activity, therefore creating interest in the viewer.

Definately a fresh perspective on the issue and a more suttle way of raising awareness for a concerning and disturbing aspect of some societies. I don't thing that this can be considered as part of some peoples 'culture' but I like the way that the issue was aproached otherwise.

Congratulations on getting accepted for TV. "All the animals were harmed in the making of this film," that's good. I'm an animal loving vegetarian but this story is important. Bull fighting, pitbull fights... we need to know about them all. Great storytelling. I like how you put yourselves in the film. Good stuff.
