• Good piece. Great message. GL

I'd like to get your opinion on my work if you wouldn't mind. <a href=" http://www.current.tv/watch/28754972?list=newVidsByProd...
• Pretty cool
• Good job. I like your edits. My only suggestions is to lower your lower-thirds, but that's just a personal preference. Good luck and I hope to see some more of your work.
Thanks,

• Very interesting piece. I have had mixed feelings about the Guardian Angels. I actually didn't know they were around anymore.
• you would benfit from having actual interactions that the guardian angels have with everyday citizens. this footage would replace the standard sleepy b-roll shots of them walking around. in order to get this kind of footage, you will have to spend more time with your subjects, or plan to be with them at an active time, like a friday or saturday evening in an active neighborhood... you touch on a growing violence in madison, which is intriguing, but for it to set in with the audience, it needs to be represented visually... the lighting on the interview of jeff is good, the best shooting in the piece. you shouldn't have the credits in the beginning, because you totally lose the idea of what could be a very powerful image (the chalk outline). The lighting for the meeting is really bad, you need to dial up your exposure or even boost the gain if needed. also, don't use the crash zoom, it often leads to shaky footage and poor framing. good effort, keep at it. the will is the way.

• very cool, I have seen a pod about the same type of thing in a different city. well done and an interesting topic. its like dog the bounty hunter for current TV. GL!

check out my pod "A window to my world" about my life with an inborn genetic disorder.
• Interesting piece. I like your editing style.

• Good subject, but nothing new. Maybe you could have interviewed some residents and asked what they felt about the presence of the GA there. There was no sense of danger in the scenes of why they were needed. Would have been great to see them in action instead of just walking on a seemingly safe neighboorhood. The film itself could have been lit better.
Keep going, I'd love to see your next effort.

• Nicely done. Very simple with all the right sound bytes. I would've emphasized more on Madison as a community and how crime isn't a "big city" problem, etc. The editing was good and the lighting on your subjects also well done.
• Good content, nice interviews with the first guy and the girl. The "founder's" piece is so dark, I'd consider the video unusable, but it's good material for VOs. Good editing, nice cutaways.

One niggle - never put a caption over someone's mouth when they're speaking. If someone is speaking, your audience should always be able to see the mouth.

I also agree with Graham, some action would not come amiss. Your audience is pre-conditioned by shows like "Police, Camera, Action" etc.

All this is IMHO of course and I'm looking forward to seeing more from you.

• Strong work. I'm GLing it because you tell a valuable story,. You have a great sense for composition and the videography was great overall. Yes, some scenes were a bit dark, but that usually doesn't matter if the story holds up. Of course, some fights or drug busts would have been cool too! Good job Mike...

• The Guardian Angels are great! The NYC Chapter is always doing positive things in the Harlem and Brooklyn neighborhoods. Great coverage on these guys who have looked to stop violence and promote positive thinking. = GL!

When you have a chance, let me know what you think about my pod; Susan Cagle, thanks!
