• I love it, Megan!
• Greenlight for this very important subject! This story is one of many like this around the globe. I understand in Mexico they are not so nice to each other on the landfills. This story has so many layers to it. It makes my head spin. This is a bit long. But the subject kept me glued to it. It will be as strong if you shorten the piece. I imagine this longer version would serve very well as an educational piece in schools. Here is our pod on solar energy> link</...
We would like to know what you think.

• A very interesting story, but too long for Current.

You need to at least cut into half for it to be acceptable to Current.

• Great film Megan! Very interesting perspective on the timely issue of excess waste and the environment.

• Real, important, touching work. Excellently shot, it is obvious that it is part of a longer film, the care you took with its preparation. Great.

• Great take on an important subject.

But I agree 13.5 mins is too long, can be squeezed into 5-7 mins. as most pods in current are... Still it's good overall. GL

• Great doc! Very interesting, especially how some of the people seem genuinely happy.

I also agree that it could be about five minutes shorter.
• yikes! who can help shift this disturbing reality? has the king seen this yet, jski?

• Provocative work about a subject that does not receive due attention (particularly for a country that prides itself on so-called "sustainable" projects") in the developing world. Bravo!
• Nice one.. well, hope it's get on air..

Good luck, Ajarn Joel !

• Hey everybody, thanks for the love you've shown Megan and I here. We did get contacted by Current and they are interested in airing this on their cable/satellite channel, so please greenlight it (if you think it's worthy) and leave a comment, so many more people can learn about this world. And, of course, please pass it along to anyone you know who you think might enjoy it.

• It's a nice work. and very interesting.
• Wow !! that's a nice interested things. I like it because it reflect real Thai people's life who many people did not know and care much about them. In my opinion, it show that peple who did not have enough education has not much alternatively in their life. It means that Thai society is currently lack of education therefore education and poverty are the cause of this video's problem.

• whoa - this is pretty damn humbling considering i myself am trying to get back up on my feet and make the move downtown! i think it's amazing how accepting some of these people are of their lifestyle -they are happy!

• i think this was very well done and should be made public. Everyone should be made aware.

• It a great clip, you've captured the issues that waste collectors have to face very well. Perhaps this sort of documentary can lead governments to be more proactive in protecting the livelihood of these people who are doing a great service to society.
• Congratulations on getting accepted for TV cossey_m. The good ones make US$17 per day and many end up in the hospital. I guess my life is not that bad. We need to see these things to keep our lives in perspective. Great subject matter. More needs to be done on waste. I kept thinking of westerners drinking a bottle of water in the tourist areas and throwing it away without a thought.

If you have 5 minutes, please check out Drawn For Life for a Green Light consideration.

Looking forward to seeing more from you cossey_m. Maybe how waste is dealt with in other countries. Wonder how it is different in Switzerland or Hawaii.
Peace, Morgan
• can the world carry on in this fashion....... maybe that toxic water one day could help mutate (if it aint already?) some biological life form into some deadly virus/disease; that one of the playing children ingests.... ...then all hell breaks loose.
the developed countries need to heed the warning signs and maybe dip into their pockets to help these poorer nations have regulated disposal facilities... ...no wonder there is bird flu (that story of truck loads being dumped there with all those people to pick up the bags without adequate provisions is enough to make you weep!) and who knows what is around the next corner. come on we have to stop the world living like it is... ...this is such a great pod i'm going to greenlit it se!

• I think one of the important issues this pod speaks to, is the idea that these people who live and work amongst garbage are happy and content in ways I seldom see in the city I live and work in, where people ride around in Bentleys and Benzs on their way to the country club. Beautiful work! Keep 'em comin'!!
