In a world of X Factor and MySpace, how does an up and coming band stand out from the crowd?

It's a pity the gig sound is so sketchy.

This film looks great and is well edited and put together - and it resists the tendency for yoof media to be over gimmicky. But (and this may be the fault of the present medium) the sound is badly out of sync and the music 'sounds' pretty awful which may discourage green light voters!!

Not sure why the sound is out of sync. The clip is fine on computer. I've uploaded again, so hopefully this will be fixed.

Saw the boys in Glasgow recently and thought they were ace. Like the film, good to see them in rehearsal. Sounds good to me.

The production value on this piece is pretty good. However, as a band profile, this piece doesn't really do much to help "Our Beloved" stand out. What makes the band different from the hundreds of other struggling rock bands? What makes their sound different? What themes do they explore in their music? Their opinions on music have been expressed by hundreds of bands. Their story of how the band came into existence isn't really a "new" story. I'm not trying to be mean or overcritical - but if this is a piece intended to "sell" the band - you need to delve into other facets of their personalities and their sound in order to stand out.
