Many Americans are moving outside the United States for retirement, health, or other reasons. This piece explores the story of one couple who now lives in Mexico and finds life there more affordable and less stressful. It also examines some of the challenges of living in a remote Mexican town away from their loved ones.

Great human interest piece!
I live in CA and property values continue to soar despite the supposedly "cooling" real estate market. I've often thought about giving it all up for life south of the border. This well edited story brings a dose of reality to what may seem like a romantic dream, but in real life has both is drawbacks and its unique rewards.
Bravo. -
I was very moved by this piece. It's just another example of how poorly Americans treat their elderly.
-

Beautiful location, real people, shows the viewer the rich's in life are family, each other and the basics!!!!! Buying a beachfront property for less than 30k, I know where I'm retiring!!! Like the tone of the narrator's voice.

I appreciate the journalistic approach.

A very good human interest piece. GL.
Just one suggestion, you need to introduce the piece at the beginning with a title card, as the viewers will not see the description posted at the bottom. -
It might have been interesting to see more of the social interaction with their Mexican friends, in other words, what's the local perspective on their retirement in mexico. I agree with sholao, you need some introductory graphics. The narration and audio is strong.

You wont hear this often, Id love it to be longer. Interview more people, perhaps their neighbors or other citizens of Mexico to ask their opinion. This is a greatly interesting piece, I hope you continue to follow the story.
Please check out my first vid launch, We Create. Thanks! -
Very well done and informative
-
Put it on the air! Love it!

This is an incredibly important story. At a time when politicians are using "border security" as the new rallying cry, Americans without health insurance are being forced to flee to Mexico.
-
Great video :-)
-
What do Americans do when they suddenly get seriously ill? Well they just leave the Americanized world and they mysteriously heal.
Great stuff, greenlit, good luck.

Thanks for the GL on my Sony VCAM! -
Nice job,
Felt just like a news short, and the VO was a bit more alive than my Table Manners. Too bad you didn't live next door :) Nice job. GL
As to the economic climate in the USA :(
