    no way
lose the cartoon intro and cheesy vocals

so you come to SE AK via a polluting vessel, make a muddy trail through the woods, and pick up a sockeye ready to spawn after its many thousands of miles of ocean travel, take it out of the creek so it is drowning in air, and spout your elementary salmon species info, all the while holding the sockeye out of the water, brilliant

Hey raindelay. Let me respond best I can. - the vessel - its hard to explore waterways without a ship, but I see your point. You ought to see the huge cruise ships up there. Our 40 person expedition ship was like a lifeboat in comparison. The muddy trail was a bear trail - muddy before we got there. The sockeye had spawned and was dying. Editing can do wonders for time shifting. Thanks again for your comments tho, glad to see you care.

Very slick. Almost too slick. It could easily be seen on TV. But because its so slick, it loses some of its charm. It feels produced, and on a forum like Current.tv, I don't think "produced" works are really popular. I could be wrong. It brings up an interesting question - does Current.tv have its own style? does regular television have its own style? Can they co-mingle? Sorry to play out these issues on your movie page.

This is a great introduction to moments that are becoming more rare for people to experience. It is always a balance of how to be in places like this and not cause problems while doing it. There are tours like this all around the globe and some are better for the environment than others. We need to choose carefully. Always a challange but glad to see people actully going there. I suspect the guy talking about the fish knows his stuff but is keeping it simple for the tour. Maybe it would have been good to say something on the video about the fish dying after spawning. I like the cartoon. Nothing cheesy here to me. Not too slick either. There is a stylistic quirkyness to it that I kinda like. This seems like a regular TV episode or pilot for a series. Maybe, particularly good for kids. Odd to be on Current TV but GL anyway.
