Across the country millions of people participated in honoring our 37th Annual Earth Day. Here in Washington D.C., there were several river clean-ups, recycle drives, lectures, tree-plantings, film fests and community celebrations. Come along for a musical video tribute to the endangered animals of the world that are protected at the Smithsonian National Zoological Park. Our fellow creatures on this Earth remind us of our responsible to them, to the planet and to ourselves. Happy Earth Day!

This was nice, but I feel it lacks a real story. I could take my camera to the zoo too. Ah what the heck. The music got to me. GL.

I wish there had been more of a connection between the images of animals and the earth day theme. The animal montage doesn't inherently carry any earth day meaning. Perhaps text with statistics about each animal? Perhaps text about the environmental conditions in their country of origin? Just something to make that animal-Earth Day connection.

nice pics, but its not really news & politics, but more aeh - culture? but nice steady hand when filming and it looks very slickly produced, so well done.
