Here's an article about what the bill does. What I find particularly refreshing is the provision that for those who go on to work in "public service" jobs (ie, nonprofit legal advocacy groups and orgs recognized as tax-exempt charities by the IRS), after 10 years they can get loan forgiveness...yes they can ERASE the remainder of their loan balance! I say yay, for once, congress put students first and told the banks to shove it.
