    GL Wow! What great technique.

Check out Sister Beatrice Explores. She would have fun teasing out the meaning hidden in each piece.

This is fantastic. Her skill is astonishing. The production values are high. I gave it a not ready for TV for two easily fixed reasons:

    1) It's too long. She's not the clearest articulator, and about a third of the way in I had had enough of hearing her talk about her aesthetic approach. Just jump to the performance art section, more quickly - it's super cool. I especially like how you show people looking at her. But you could cut out a couple of them, too.

    2) Earlyish on, show a closeup of her technique. You do that near the end (keep that one). But until the end, I thought it was like weaving, that she finished one line before starting the next. But in fact, she's moving the bar back and forth in small increments as needed. It didn't make me appreciate her any less, I just wanted to know sooner so I didn't carry this mental image of weaving in my head.

Nicely done, and definitely belongs in Current IMHO!

Loved it. The final few moments were key, I was thinking throughout the piece that I was hoping to get a really clear view of some of the images. The reactions from the people were great.

If you get a chance, please check out our XM VCAM, "XM Makes Me Money". Thanks!

This is sooooo cool! She's turned a machine that is pretty much obsolete into an innovative tool for her artistic expression. And so talented she is! I also liked seeing the people react to her during the creative process. Green light! I do hope to see this on Current TV.

I'm GLing because I really think its an amazing piece. Your subject is interestingly endearing, and an amazing artist. Great shot of her sitting with the cop watching her and the giant sculpture in the back. I do agree with rekha6's first statement though, get the outside shots sooner.

Great job Stu. What a great artist and what a great way to tell her story. You had a great set-up when you took the story outdoors. I love the way you started showing people's reaction to her prior to her talking about their reaction. I was expecting to see people fascinated by what she was doing, and you slowly revealed it. Great work. The imagery was also really good. The shots of her orange typewriter with the wording on the side. Very very nice. I only GL what I think is the best and this is definitely on of those.

Please take a look at my pod when you have a chance. I would love to hear what you have to say.

interesting to see that art is evolving, just a pity we don't see it so much anymore. she was very talented and has a unique style, i suppose the fact the art is not as a popular as it should be in todays society, it would be great to see this short film highlight the area,
