The phrase subliminal racism is invented by Dr. Arthur Graham and it refers to the deeply imbedded racist cultural patterns that undergird Western civilization; these patterns, most clearly seen in art, literature, and in so many other areas of our daily lives. My friend Kyoshi Teddy Wilson is an American living in Istanbul for the last 15 years. Unfortunately he experienced subliminal racism in Turkey.

Great issue to address, but I agree that interviewing more people, more editing out fluff, and more examples of subliminal racism within the culture would be very helpful. Thanks for sharing! I appreciate what you're doing.

Race effects people of all ethnicities within every sector of this world, and it's not just black people, and definitely not just white people. But I figure that the best way to make a change is to try and decipher that person you see in the mirror everyday. I mean, atleast this is a step in the right direction to positivity.
