  • You've captured an important slice of history and a story that needs to be heard. You were able to give us a good feel for why it would be important to preserve the flavor of the old, and restore old structures rather than wiping them out, without emphasizing in a graphic or more overt way what could happen with development in Coney Island (wiping out historic area and keeping only one or two significant historic buildings or rides--turning it into a sterile cookie cutter "redeveloped" area that would leave no ties to the special-ness of Coney Island), Viewpoint from the man in blue shirt and cap was excellent presentation of the gist of the Coney Island story. I greenlighted because I want the Coney Island story to get out and this pod appears well produced to tell that story. Good job!

  • I think this was really well shot, very well shot! Very professionally done. Excellent interviews and cityscape shots. I was a bit turned off by the idea of a story about the production of beer, kind of a commercial in concept, however in quality you really get a sense of the culture and people from the area. I also thought all the artistic additions were well placed and added to the color of the piece.

  • Looked at it again today, and I think even more of it. It is interesting to look at, the information is interesting as are the sights and sounds of Coney
    Island. The president of Shmaltz is very cool, too.

  • Nice job. I just heard on a radio program that real estate developers are fighting to develop the land that coney island is currently located on, the boardwalk may soon be a thing of the past....ah greed...
