I like the look of this one but the build seemed a little too long.

Some are too short, this ones too long. Easy fix.

hmmm... the beginning imagery is very cool. however it seems dull. maybe turn up the contrast. also the techique used to have the logo appear is nice but way too long. rework it, i wanna see this on tv

needs to be 20 seconds shorter...maybe just put it on fast forward....also, maybe you could add some glitter, prancing unicorns, something to liven it up?
-
no need to continue conversation from other video thread here...
just an explanation to my comment (below) which you said was "way out there"....
it is a reference to a psa produced by current tv which is regularly shown on their network.
the tv spot is about a painter who is putting on an art show...she stands next to an attendee who starts giving feedback, suggestions on the otherwise drab paintings....("glitter, prancing unicorns, something to liven it up")
the artist, unable to take the feedback, storms away in anger...then max and jason (current hosts) step out of nowhere and assure the audience that current is a safe place for any type of criticism..
it is very funny and worth seeing.
you should watch current sometime and I think you'll get a much better idea of all these issues we've been discussing. -
I don't think it's too long. It seems that in a "music video" world, everything needs to be edited at a frantic pace. In some recent action films, I haven't even been able to see what was going on during fight scenes! It's refreshing to just bask in some nice imagery instead of a ten-second sensory explosion.

thanks islek,
I do not think it is too long either. It is too short for my taste.
this was something of an experiment to see if people can take 41 sec. to watch listen and breath.
It is amazing how hard it is to slow down. -
I'm seeing your style more, it has great music, and the images are very cool. I think they are too long for most people with short attention spans and used to a cut every 6 seconds. It plays well, I GL
