SMorrisey, I think your comments are unnecessarily hostile.
As far as credits go I put them on because I did the work. If I don't include them no-one knows who did
what. Since this is a forum to promote our work, that's what we do.
As far as your invites to red light all your pieces if I like: I don't use the red light system -- If you don't have anything constructive to add or don't like a piece, why be mean? Pods with the most GL's will rise to the top.
If you don't like my piece, I'm fine with that. It's impossible to please everybody and I'm not trying to.
Good Luck with your pods! And if I like any of them I will Greenlight those and leave a constructive comment as I have with others on this site.-

Nice little piece. It works as an on the road piece. Now I would say you David need to learn to take constructive criticism. There was nothing "hostile" in Smorriesy's reply to you.
And yes there is something wrong with you and a few other people on Current.tv who have 619 and more green lights and then post a "LOOK AT ME" in the comments. All you people who just go around a green light crap are just out to green light people hoping that they will green light you back to push your own POD to the top. So in the end all I can say is maybe people who do this need to spend more time on making good PODs instead of putting out crappy PODs hoping someone with return the favor after 619 I GL you so Look at me comments.
Now Mr. Smorriesy I gave you a GL so Please feel free to LOOK AT MY PIECE!!! Hahahhahahahah JK -
Wow, your comments on our pods where completely out there. Your must not understand the point of CurrentTV. Sorry we could not be the professionals you are looking for. I stand behind everything I said and watched on Current, including your pod. Why do you even bother making video if you think you are not ready for CurrentTV? Anyway, you completely missed the point of the videos we are making. If I or anyone had all the fixes for the environmental crises we would not be in one. I guess you are just one of those who does nothing and complains about anyone else doing something. Sad for you.

I would contend that in my 26 years on this planet I have done more actual work to improve the situation with our environment and humanity than both of your entire lives put together.
I am a professional humanitarian and have put more sweat, blood, and tears into making our world cleaner, safer, and more peaceful.....than you could possibly imagine.
i resent your making such a hurtful claim towards someone you don't even know.
now take a chill pill, and learn how to accept authentic feedback. -
sorry my friend. You started that one by trashing everything about our videos, our efforts, our presence here and more. I went easy on you. Who needs the chill pill? If you knew the first thing about us you would have a different idea of how much we are doing. But This is not a compettition and I thank you for your humanitariean work. You would do well to have the heart and respect our work as well.

-you can upload as many new pods as you want....the point of this forum is to upload work, and learn from other contributors how to make it better
...not to go around promoting something you made and giving everyone else the wrong idea that their work belongs on tv also...

I highly encourage you to upload completely new versions of this, and any other pods....i'm sure it will improve your chances of getting something to air.
please forget about having to start over from zero votes.....this is not the place for self promotion or scarcity / selfish-minded thinking.
by giving excessive GLs ......all you do is sacrifice your credibility as a producer who understands what belongs on tv.
do not become like david george...that poor guy wasted so much time and effort for a video that will never make it to air...
by essentiallly greenlight spamming current's small community, you wrap yourself in a cocoon of false reverence, and shut out most feedback that can help...

if you are still confused about the importance of redlighting, please seek clarity from current staff members.

I didn't know where else to respond to the post you left on my pod "strokes and spokes", so I'll respond here.
I am not promoting the girl, I filmed her before i even knew about current, with the intention of putting together a show on art. I haven't even spoken to her since that day except to tell her I made a post to current. I met her only the one time that i went to film her.
This was my first pod and I know the sound sucks because I didn't have an external mic. I also concede that the pod could be a lot better.
But the girl is very deserving of a feature story. She is interesting with her whole obsession with bikes.
I am not promoting a shop here, nor a business. I wanted to share this fasinating personal story with the world.
Anyway, congrats on the success of your pod here.
