  • short and sweet. should definitely get on TV given the hysteria and public hunger for celeb culture and all its offshoots.

    but yeah, all that music needs to be referenced/acknowledged at the end of the film if you want it to go primetime.

    Pardon my bluntness. What's this short film about? It's easy to find a cultural oddity and open it up, but what did you find inside? What's this mean to the "double"? How are they different? Is this woman interested in taking advantage of her accidental celebrity?

  • I liked the teaser, and I like the idea for the show! But, some of it is way too dark! LIGHTS? And as a Pod? This was picked for TV in like a day !?!? Whats really going on here current.tv?

  • I think this is an interesting quick glimpse into a peculiar lifestyle. Devoting your life to looking like a celebrity is odd and fascinating, and I think this piece is a great miniature character study on the kind of person who would do it. I enjoyed it's unique quality and subtle humor.

  • Ummm, I like the idea of the pod. It's interesting enough to hold my A.D.D. riddled attention, but...

    I don't know, I would've liked to see more of what happens when she appears at promotions. Or like, her shopping in a store and actually seeing people mistake her for Angelina.

    Cool idea though.

  • I have to agree with Discowhore who found this pod compelling in theory and empty in execution. Great idea but we find out absolutely nothing about what this genetic blessing does to her everyday life.

    It isn't sublime or existential. It is hype and empty, great promise but uncritical.

  • I think the idea can grow into a big documentary. It is to superficial as it is THERE IS NOTHING to remember and nothing to wonder after. Maybe for americans! But Angelina Jolie means Nothing to me and the woman that looks like her make me feel nothing about her. What else beside YES THEY LOOK ALIKE? SO WHAT and dude change your title CLONES? This people are not clones they are impersonators THAT it!
