Bumpy dirt roads, a bit of rain, a lot of mud, some guys with machine guns, and bush-whacking doesnt stop us on our quest to track the Mountain Gorillas. Check out what it takes to get up close and personal with these fascinating animals in the mountains of Central Africa.

It is a great pod no question about it! It can be even a bid longer before we se them! Personally it makes me ask you What do you think? is this after all good for the gorilas? How they deal with expreding desises (for the gorilas not to get sick having people aroun d them!) In general I am just concern on what are they really doing to protect them? Green Light

Great footage! Must have been awesome experience!
I too am concerned about their protection and what impact tourism may have on these gorillas. They should keep it as inconvenient as possible to reach so only the fittest and most determined will go. If they start putting together bus tours on paved roads, it'll all go sour fast.-

What? You didn't pack your machete?? HAHA, great work. That camera shoots a great picture on the wide angles! The gorillas were up close and personal, too! Awesome! I enjoyed this as I'm sure you enjoyed your trip. I'm curious of how to be a part of such an expedition as a camera guy. Let me know if you might need an extra cam-op on your next one!
PS I would open this one with a better intro, but who the hell am I to give critique??-

That must of been some adventure. There were some great shots, and footage. Some narrative parts could of been cut short, but overall I felt like i was there with you.

Wow! How amazing to read about the gorillas' endangerment in Newsweek and then see them alive and moving through your footage. I am impressed.
