  • Video is much too long, the audio is rough in certain places, some of the people sound as though they are mumbling. Also lighting is not so good in some areas too, aside from those scenes that are purposely dark. There is a lot of unnecessary talk and there could be a lot more action footage. I liked the scene that was sped up with the artist painting the wall... clean it up a bit is my opinion.
  • Pretty interesting - are you going to add captions so we can learn who the artists are? Could do with a bit of tightening up all round. Love the sound.

  • I like it, a little too long but thats it. Their tag names would be great in caption. Will get the GL from me if you shorten it a bit.
  • It was good to hear from the creators of graffitti and to learn their reasons for their illegal art.
  • GL!

This is good for those times when you need a break from the BS.

  • Interesting video. I like the opening and the use of cut aways and transitions. I agree with it being a bit long. It is a lot of talking, and I found myself "fast forwarding" through parts. I think the music is a great fit.

  • Great Pod. Very underground. Maybe a bit long but I watched the whole thing. There accents were throwing me off a bit, but I got the point.

  • Cool pod. Very much enjoyed the interviews with the artists. I’d like to know a little more about them though; maybe some text to give us a little about the individuals. Well shot, with some cool angles and great art.

    GL.

  • I really like the way you have managed to capture valuable insights from the members of this community in order to showcase that many members of this sub-culture are not punks but artists making statements about society in their own unique way. This is a thought provoking piece and it lets us wonder if perhaps it would have been better if there have been designated public areas where people could make murals on. Check out my piece which is on London too. I hope you will like it. Cheers!
  • great production, nice cut, i like the underground feel, good artists as well!

  • that's pretty underground.
  • definite green light. the way that they (the artist and the fans) talk about the art makes it all the more better, although it is a lot of talking, but the music fits it very well.

  • This was great all around. I have no complaints. It's amazing to think people will finally get to see the artistic point of grafitit. I noticed you used a lot of banksy artwork, good choice, he's quite inspiring. I only wish I could travel to London and see all of the masterpieces.
  • Amazing insight on a controversial art form. Inspiring. A defintie GreenLight. Brings an interesting thought to me...is graffiti culture any different in the States? Loved the spliced train and interview shots...very cool flashy effect. Nice camera work and interesting lighting choices. Only criticism, the last interview shot was subpar in comparison to the previous ones.

If you get a chance, please check out our uploads filmed off the coast of Maine. Thanks, DBP

  • I have seen a number of pods on graffiti, but this one stands out. Two statements that grabbed me:
    1. Artist saying that the art has a shelf life and like them it will disappear after a while.
    2. Artist is allowed to at someones house he has never meet, because the subculture is their relationship.
    Nice work. Green Light
