  • I agree, we need to makes sure we educate ourselves... BIG MEDIA doesn’t give us the right info.

    GL from me.

Please take a moment to check out my latest pod, BIG MEDIA fails again. Give it a green light if you like.

  • Slightly confusing on the intro, but good pod nonethe less. GL!
  • I really like your information graphics.
Having the parachute turn into a graph works great.
But I want more things like that!
    You need more information!
I would like more Info. like this:...for every solder killed 15 others are severely injured.
Check <a href=" http://www.number27.org/work/maps/weapons.jpg">... out for some inspiration!

  • Thank you for your comments
  • I don't believe we should be in Iraq. I guess I should've put a disclaimer on my video saying "...the soldier's views and opinions were not necessarily those of the producer's (ME)..." but I didn't feel it was necessary. The media definitely gives its filtered news on a daily schedule, and the nation should be questioning the source of information. I do not share those views with the certain soldier in my documentary. The nation should become isolationists, in my opinion, and worry about our own economics. You do great work! I like the intro in this one a whole lot! Keep it up!
  • Thank you... Solid post; I am also an advocate for change in the community... I also commented on another of yours. I could learn a few things. Can you PLEASE return your input on my own project, <a href=" http://www.current.tv/watch/60193451">CAN ART</a>. I would personally love your consent for TV.

  • Excellent and important video. The public needs to be informed not only about how many soldiers and civilians have been killed, but also how many have been maimed for life. GL.

  • Solid message. Interesting effects. Great graphics. Go, green lite.
  • The Iraq Invasion was such a blunder in human cost. The Bush Admin should be booted out of office for getting the world into this world.

Thanks for the GL on my first pod!
Check out my latest pod if you have a chance:

  • Green Light. I think you can also have an interview with the musician so we learn more about her technique to play this instrument. I am sure you have more footage somewhere? this can be longer, meaning not just a documentation of a performance but also a full interview integrated with the performance and the history. Good luck and thank you for your GL
  • Hey great effects and a great message. I have a similar video about the Arlington West memorial, in which I interview an Iraq veteran against the war who has very shocking things to say about the treatment of the Iraqi people.

  • I liked how you took a simple set of facts, and kept is interesting with a slightly abstract sense of the visual. Really, sometimes all it takes is a creative presentation of simple--yet startling--statistics that we should know about as citizens. And the Iraqi death toll is even greatly underscored by the US . . . Good work.
  • Sad but great point. GL;)

  • GL. Sorry I didn't take care of this before. Thought I had. Keep up the good work.
  • I thought this was executed really well. The colors are reallly stunning and I like how this contrasts with the grotesque facts of the war. The transition/morphing from the parachute to the pie chart further reinforces this. Did you apply a filter in Final Cut to achieve this?
  • good job. wish you well.
  • nice work. quite powerful. GL from me.
    Hopemn
  • Hola y muchas gracias por tu comentario. Si... yo tengo un Lowrider. El costo depende de el tipo de carro que tengas y que tanto le quieres meter al carro.
  • Good work...
And, for the lighter side of humanity , please see williefab videos, Like "SOBER SEX" and "GOT FAT?"

  • Nice color grade, great messages.
  • I already greenlight you a month ago, but again, it is a great piece!
  • With all that knowlege, inteligence, technology, creativity, how pittifull and ugly we humans can be.
    Excellent piece.
  • great job usumacinta

plz Take a look at my pod <a href=" http://www.current.tv/watch/121411402">link<...
  • Essential facts.
  • I very much liked the pace of the video as it seemed to flow well with the relevant information and thought-provoking question -- truly how many more deaths will it take?
  • Good piece, my only criticism would be that the beginning is a bit long/slow, but otherwise very good. GL.
  • I don't know why the piece didn't start right away. Took quite a while.

Like the orange haze across the whole video. If the point of this was to make the viewer understand that 94 American Civilians die every day in Iraq - then job well done.

Kinda wish there were more visuals. See what I spent the last month working on <a href=" http://current.tv/watch/150200222.htm">link<... 60 second spot for XM. Just made the deadline.
  • Thank you all for your comments as we all know our effort is good but not enought as we all know a piece like this one will NEVER make it to TV on America!
  • good advertisment...
    it works...
the beging was way to reflexive, to much silence...
    keep it up...!
  • could be shortened
    font is hard to read
what does the audio have to do with the stats?
it sounds cool, but squawky radio might not be the right sound for this
  • Dylan asked that, we all do.
    Good one.
    lfm
  • Nice piece but using a brutal and abusive "marketing campaign" doesn't help the cause.

  • I was far to long and what did the sound bites and video have to do with the stats. It just seemed like a bad TRUTH? ad.
    Journal
  • too long for too short a message.
    altang
  • This is no long. Fying to Asia is veryyyyyyy long! Green Light!
    RamMG
  • I liked the long, steady build up to the facts, makes them have more impact
  • This very good I agree with covelogibbs comments. Thank you for the upload maybe you want to take out the picture at the end? I do not thing you need it.
  • i dont think this is good enought to be on tv. It needs more.
  • I agree that there are too many deaths in Iraq and I believe that the citizens in Iraq should stop being cowards and stand up for themselves and their family and also their country. The citizens need to hand over information if they have it and also turn people in if they know where they are. We can stop this if the citizens would just stand up and take control instead of having the people they know killed and they are getting them killed if they think so or not. If they don’t hand things over that would help then more people get killed by the terrorist and the civil war that has started over there.
