Drawn For Life

I enjoyed the pod for the most part. I felt like it started well, commanded my attention. Then I started drifting during the a.p.e. expo. I'm unsure if those interview spurts added insight or interest. It felt like you really gave up at the end with the placement and limited info on his chronic injuries. That might've been nice to know earlier. Overall, I didn't get much of a sense of his world and a limited view of his work.

I like the animated transitions though, and did watch it twice.

WOW! GL I love everything about this video. The artist is interesting but you also put this video together in such a great way. The images,movement,music, variety....all that and you kept on topic and clearly delivered. Fun to watch.

Andy's one of the most interesting and complex human beans I've known in this lifetime. It's good to know that other folks think so, too - enough to make a mini-doc about him.

Seriously, tho. That spinal injury looks really freaky.

Very interesting. I like the mix of film and rotoscope for a piece on a comic book artist. That is perfect. And, an interesting character. We all wish we were doing what we love, and its inspiring to see. Andy is a gentle soul and one of the kindest people you'll ever meet. I really think people will like this bit of film.

I'm familiar with the filmmaker and have appreciated his pods. I like these stories of lesser-known people and their contributions. The cartoon-to-video transition was clever.

I love comic book artists, they are so imaginative and free.

I am a fan of the Human Interest piece and this one has been well produced. Audio was a bit low and there were someshadowed shots which may have been what you were looking for. Great job. Hope to see it on channel 156 local.

animations and theramin really enhaces this video, giving it a very unique edge. never seen this done before on current. good stuff.

this was great...i loved the beginning where andy was drawn as a cartoon, very cool. i feel like i know this guy.
and it is funny because some people think of san franscico as a loving sort of people loving place and it is such a stereo-type so this is wonderful!

tharvey, I'd say Current is all about being different and real. So different from mainstream TV. There are so many good pods to choose from, eh? I'm hooked.

Interesting Pod. I love artist, especially comic book artist. It was great to see this and now I'm interested in seeing more about these guys.
