Over a hundred years ago on a tiny tropical island a devasting disease wiped out many of the inhabitants. The survivors commemorate the tragedy by holding a spectacular larger than life festival. The islanders get busy by making 100,000s of steamy buns. Here we see the preparation before the main parade. But don't forget to checkout "The Bun Festival Parade" being broadcast on Current TV very soon

Interesting...

Hmmm...they might have another "devastating disease" on their hands soon if they don't observe proper hygenic preparation. I thought some of this needed subtitles and more information would be good. "A tiny tropical island"? Singapore? Taiwan? Macau? And what exactly was the "disease"? Typohoi? Foor & Mouth? But I thought it was an interesting segment so I'm Greenlighting it.

Glad you liked it, We were considering subtitles for the bits that were not said in English however we thought those segments were self explanatory so we thought we'd leave it the way it was.

I'm greenlighting it....however I think the piece needs some more information. A voiceover/subtitles would help a lot. You got some good action shots. MORE INFO!!! GL!

The way the festival's character is covered is great. The people are charming, intense, and they understand the meaning of. GL indeed!

Liked your Pod, I think the beginning is a little slow though, maybe a little music and a VO of the background of the culture ect would really finnish it off. Hope to see it aired.
