  • Forgive me, since I watched the last installment first. I didn't realize they were meant to be viewed sequentially. I thought they were re-edits.

Regardless, what a stunning spectacle! I have to admit the whole idea of public nudity makes me a bit uncomfortable. I didn't think it would, but there it is.

As a piece of filmmaking, it was, as the Pythons used to say, "completely different." As a political statement, it's certainly an attention grabber, but I wonder what message it sends. I appreciate the idea that it must have been a liberating experience, being able to feel safe so fully exposed. But how DID the message get across? What were the reactions of non-participants? What did the MSM say about this public indulgeance?

I liked the wonderfully English capsule comments about the whole experience, especially the "Bush" impromtu campaign statement. It seems similar to the Woodstock experience: social "reinvention" at its cheekiest!

As a film it does seem to wander. It might have been edited to emphasize the key reasons for doing this, but the whole shift in what's permissible is such a departure from the status-quo, I can certainly understand being distracted.

  • Some comments from the public would have been interesting. A bit too long but overall well done and informative.
