On a tiny hot & humid sub tropical isle a terrific parade is organised by the decendants of the survivors of a devasting unknown disease which wiped out many of the islanders. The highlight of the parade are the small children who hover above the crowds that fill the extremely narrow alleyways. Please enjoy this light hearted glimpse during the festival.

  • Looks like a great time for a great cause. Honestly, they shouldn't even sell cigarettes anymore, but of course it would go into the black market and that is no good. Were cigarettes associated with the disease that is spreading? I would've liked to have heard more about that issue, but good work, either way!

    The costumes represent historical figures or current events over the last 12 months. For example the windsurfer represents the island's very own born and breed Gold Medalist at the Atlanta Olympics Lee Lei Shan. The anti smoking campaign is to highlight "Helath" which coincides with the new smoking ban in public places. Cigarettes were not the cause of the outbreak but probably pathological disease which was before the time of medical research, so not even W.H.O knows.
