  • hi there, thanks for the comemnt and the GL, yes i have noticed views arent showing, but it says i have GL's yours, im not overly sure what is going on but not to worry, the greenlight is showing :)

  • hmmm this is strange, it says fo rme that i have greenlit it and also chrispmonkey has.
    could you tell me how many people it says have greenlit mine, and i will tell you if i am having the same problem

    I just had a friend come in and GL me and it is showing but he says he didn't see any others either. He did give you a GL though :)

  • Brilliant observation, chrispmonkey!!! It appears that even though the comments appear from both locations it tracks the votes separately for UK and USA. A bit stupid!!! Here we are supposed to be globalizing and they segregate us under some sort of abstract voting/comment system. How much time have we wasted trying to figure out what happened here? So my Tony shows on the UK site with 4 votes (mine and our three UK members ranked 162) and it shows on the USA site with 7 votes all members of the USA site ranked at 899). Not quite sure what this all means but at least the mystery is solved and I will sleep tonight :) Thanks to chrispmonkey and shanechapman for helping to solve the mystery. Now if we could figure out why the views don't show :)

    P.S. Hat's off to the UK/Ireland site where they don't seem to use the RED Lights as weapons!

  • I'm not quite sure if this is really a good fit for current programming....

    I do see potential if compressed and used as a "current promo spot"

    I just have to give you a greenlight for originality and the message at the end.

  • smorrisey, Thanks for the GL despite your reservations on Current Programming. I had the same feelings. That's why I added the message at the end :) In the same light, everyone needs a smile from time to time. Even most magazines and newspapers print the odd joke amidst their articles. Mind you, we could go for the deeper meaning here on Sex and relationships :)

    If you think red lights are bad. I had a rating of 4.4 and in 2nd place in 99 ratings. 60 low ratings in a row knocked the score to 3.4 and standing down to 163. They don't require registration to vote and even though they track IP's people with dynamically allocatted IP's can vote every day. So someone with a lot of supporters knock the top 10 videos out of the running. I'm begining to see a lot of these as popularity contests rather than talent contests.
    So perhaps this system isn't so bad..
