Did you ever think that the solution to the world's energy problems is right under our nose? Meet Louise Meyer a global crusader for the benefits of cooking with the sun. Louise promotes a simple cooking aparatus called the HOTPOT that uses only the sun as fuel.

GL! Excellent. Some sollutions are so simple. Great introduction to Louise and her project.

A solid wow factor in the green technology dept. This is a great way to spread the word of a more sustainable environment and better solar energy use. I liked your cuts, clean and meaningful. I also enjoy your interview and the information provided = GL!
When you grab a chance, please stop by and check out Susan Cagle, my first pod uploaded. I enjoy positive feedback, thanks!

Nice story, unique. I like the pod, and Greenlight it, but I think the photos section in the beginning goes on a little too long (even though it's paced nicely with the music, which I also like)... GL for story as always though...
Since you're a fellow DC resident, I know you won't mind taking a look at Give 'Em Belle! sometime... Cheers ;)

Vahid,

this is really interesting. The sun can be an excellent source of alternative energy in the developing world. GL. If you have a chance please check out my pods.

Really brilliant. Wouldn't believe it but saw some solar cooking on "It's not easy gowing green" series on UK TV.
But they basically recycled materials like satellite TV dishes and painted them black with a kettle on top.
Even worked, though they had to wait some hours for having a cup of tea.
Isn't there any possibilities to recycle materials in the third world for solar cooking, too? -
oh, by the way, check out my pod, too and Gl it if you like it or leave some comments on how to make it better?:

Vobbie.... I really enjoyed this. I didn't know you could get such solar cooking tools for cheap. Your project is quite insirational; whatever I can do to get your content on the air, let me know... I hope it motivates people. Excellent videography. Dope stuff. A Greenlight and 25 points for you! Please, take just a moment to return your review on my own CANCEPTUAL video, Vobbie. I would personally love your consent for TV. I could really use your expertise and approval.
I hope you can be fair and take the time to review mine also. -
Definite GL. Finally, some solutions for people and the planet. Interesting and important story. Well produced and edited with an encouraging tempo. More people should know about this topic and get involved for positive change. I like the varied shots and edits and the way the visuals tell the story, complementing the clear and concise audio. I'm glad I saw this. Now I want a solar cooker, too!

Friend of Mary Bartone's. My name is Jon Macht. She asked me to view your film. I really liked the film. Made it a very and topical and explained the problem and the solution and how to get others involved and worldwide implications. In 4 minutes! Impressive. Best of luck with this project.

Very informative! It really exciting to see people working to improve the environment. Great production!

Greenlight.
The good:
1. Great subject matter; super-interesting topic.
2. Well-edited video and interview.
The not as good:
1. Too many still pics, and for long stretches at a time. I timed it -- 1minute, 26 seconds of still pics. Is it a slideshow or a video?
2. One interviewee, who also doubles up as the narrator. I thought there should be a few more people interviewed on the subject, and maybe a separate narrator.
3. The punctuation on the graphics and subtitles was poor. Who cares, right? It makes it easier to read when there's a comma or two in the right locations. -
Mad props. Great content. You the man!
-
The video is very clear and informative. Thank you!

Day by day, three times a day, solar cooking can help save the planet! We need to support and spread the use of these solar cookers throughout the world, especially in poverty-stricken areas.
-
Important to highlight awareness of the awesome power and energy source of solar cooking. Thank You!

Great work Louise!

Spectacular video. Great footage showing the food boiling & cooking. Beautiful visuals of women doing their work, gathering firewood, and more.
Congrats to Linda Myer and SHE. Great work.

easy to use, inexpensive, and environmentally friendly - if there's anything that approaches infinity in resource it's the sun!! Great job!

Very interesting. The music is a little distracting.

Solar cooking will have the highest impact on fragile environments like the Sahel in Africa but will also positively impact on family health, child nutrition and many other aspects of rural and urban households in Africa.
