This August, India and Pakistan celebrated their 60th independence day. The mood in India is upbeat, especially amongst its youth. Find out what they think about the country, its independence, their freedom and of their neighbour Pakistan. And visit a school for people with special needs to find out how they celebrate freedom.

Amazing, you did such a great job of interviewing a wide variety of young people who have a lot to say about the notion of freedom and the differences between India and Pakistan. It was a great mixture of information, politics and personal stories.
thank you so much for making this and uploading, keep up the great work.-

The interviews are great-- they contain a lot of information and emotion without dragging on. The footage you got supports them and holds its own. Great pod.

The introduction doesn't seem to match up to the content to me. I like the message though.
-
Great job with the interviews. You really did get opinions from a wide variety of people. Which is what makes this pod so interesting. Watching the citizens of India debate amongst themselves over the state of their country or what freedom really means. Fascinating.

Nice views from todays youth ... still i feel it will take ages to understand and feel real essence of freedom ..Appreciate the way it has been presented.

I think you should use subtitles for your narration like you did with the people you interviewed.

Nice introspection after 60 years of freedom. Good editing, but the commentary could be a little stronger.
Great first attempt, Luvi. I am so proud of you. -

A great panacea to the hype around a rising Indian middle class....

Beautiful!!
Thank you for a glimpse of your country.
We each are reaching for the freedom that is always fleeting....no matter where we call our home. -
We really liked your video. Keep up the good work.

love your voice and your message! Keep going!

Shagin love your voice (I think is the narration voice?) Good and different view of India. We are use to a very prototipe view of inda here from America and this is pricesless a view from yonger genererations. GL see is you time to see my work.

Great work Kiddo! Keep it up. Your teachers and their program should be very proud of you. That must be one helluva program you went to. This piece was very professional. The view point had a clear beginning, middle, and end with a very strongly delineated personal voice (pardon the pun). I'm sure that you enjoyed great freedom in doing a small personal narrative but don't forget the joy in the collaborative process which doesn't require much budget if you can really communicate passion to potential collaborators. Listening to everybody's ideas, no matter how far out, and taking advantage of beautiful mistakes/accidents is one of the most rewarding aspects of this collaborative art form. Most of the time the end result is better by the magnitude number of all those who had input, or...the end result is greater than the sum of its parts (or something like that). I was always told, and resisted the idea that, If one wants to create all alone they should go into a studio and paint (or go do a cartoon for a while like David Lynch's "Dumbland" :) I have great hope for this medium with creators like you in the world. Go make a difference! Barak

Good: Narration was good. You have a good voice. You talked from the heart. It was definitely YOUR point of view. You did a great job of getting lots of peoples views. I liked that.
Bad: If the story was about what freedom means, I felt you went off topic several times. Even your opinion was a little esoteric and vague. But you veered off subject several times and I forgot that the subject was about freedom.
Overall, though, I liked it and you should continue to make more.
