I like the stats, and the earth's smiley face, but the opening shot doesn't tell us much, if anything. I would throw in a shot of a Prius driving through beautiful green country, or something that has more of a connection to Prius, then you have my vote! Nice job.

The smiley face really is adorable, but I would add anything you can to make the first picture look more like smog and pollution. The color changing is effective, but it could also signify things not related to pollution. I think adding a bit of a change from cloudy to clear will make the change more dramatic.
