  • I gave this the greenlight, because it was well done and brings up some good issues, BUT....

    Could gas be any cheaper? Hardly, water and soda are more expensive!! I get the feeling that some of the people in this POD would be unhappy with gas at 50 cents a gallon. We should be paying much, much, much more for gasoline. The taxes alone should be more than the total price we now pay for gasoline. I'm sure our gasoline prices must be the worst (and by that I mean cheapest!) in the world. What we need is a little incentive to kick our oil habbit, and that is not going to happen with gas practically being given away at $3.60 a gallon, or whatever it may be selling for in your community. Just my opinion.

  • Well done, I liked the fact that you were open and honest about the journalistic bias of this piece. This is a discussion that everyone around the world needs to be having. Nice production values. I liked the pacing and variety of locations.

  • This is a great pod, the only problem was you did the sound TOO WELL. Which is an odd critique, but you need some of that ambient sound to fill in the sound of the pod, if you don't have appropriate ambient sounds for each setting you should probably make a simple looped music track, could be something simple like a looped drum beat, or something. But there should definetly be more sound to fill it out. Other than that, GREEN LIGHt.

  • I liked how you let the participants tell the story in their own words. I realize that you are free to shape the story however you like, but I would have liked to hear a bit from from the other side of the issue as well - unless, of course, you did not come across any during the production.
