This is a simple promo of a flame-twirling Australian girl on the Japanese island of Sado set to traditional Japanese music played by a shakuhachi flute.

I think that you could shorten this at least 5 seconds. IT would be REALLY cool if the fire formed the cubes in the current logo. I'd push this piece a little farther.
Good luck!

Thanks for the comment and advice - the music and twirling kind of dictated the length. My original 12 second one was too quick and the music didn't work with it.
As for cubes and fire, yeah that'd be great if I knew how to do that.-

check out <a href=" http://www.creativecow.net/articles/aftereffects.html...
Maybe a a few close ups would help the piece not feel too long.
Good luck!

Ah! Samurai Dave strikes with Danger. I was waiting for the transition of the fire streaks to spell out Current. HOT spot though.
Is this hot enough for your likin' <a href=" http://current.tv/watch/150200222.htm?">link<...-

Thanks for the comment and GL skyhanger! Sorry but no super-duper special effects a-coming. Like the majority of my pods - this was a spur of the moment capture.
I was on Sado Island for a taiko concert. In the evening back at the campsite, this Australian girl (Kay) was performing the fire twirling so I decided to shoot it at various speeds to give it a kind of physchodelic look. It was completely unscripted but when she blew out the fire I later thought that would make a good spot for the words Current to appear then burn out.-

Yes, this is beautiful, and evocative. Of course had she spelled out current with the torches everyone's mind would have been blown. But, way to be there with the camera, and make it work, nice and simple (25pts) GL.
